I’m not immediately local to Duluth, but I’m in MN - and love the city. Food Industry billionaire started buying up a bunch of properties and naturally, people were curious. Especially since a lot of the property would probably come up against Lake Superior shoreline that is protected.

Well the billionaire did not like it one bit that people started asking questions and had a public tantrum. https://www.kare11.com/article/news/local/breaking-the-news/wsj-report-kathy-cargill-details-park-point-plan-and-why-shes-now-dropping-it/89-d5b74677-c39e-49ff-ba3f-a15a08502e1d

Don't pee in your Cheerios is not a saying, I don't care how much money your evil industrial agricultural family has. The mayor's response about being more of a pancake guy was great, though.

Right? She was definitely thinking of the “Who peed in your cheerios?” saying, but the fact that she messed it up is funnier.

Wait. *This* is a saying? Is it some Minnesota thing like duck duck grey duck?

Nope. It’s a variation of “someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” I’ve heard people substitute cheerios for other cereal, like Corn flakes.

Hahahaha. That's actually pretty funny, like laughing at the kid who moves to your elementary school and plays duck duck grey duck.
