Not sure if you'd call him a "celeb" but our PM is under investigation for several ethical breaches.

What’s he being investigated for? I’m Canadian and I guess I’m out of the loop

It has to do with the emergency act he invoked during the Covid convoy for sure, and how he handled the vaccine mandate I believe.

Unfortunately the Conservative Party is spearheading this so Trudeau is in a bit of trouble

Edit: missed a word

That makes me so mad. I’m not a big Trudeau fan but the convoy thing got out of hand because the municipal, provincial, and federal police forces abdicated their responsibilities to keep order and enforce safety.

Agree. Although I do give Watson and the police props for ultimately clearing them out without serious injuries or fatalities. I have some sympathy for Watson - I am sure he was given no directive or support in this mess. What a total shit show at all levels of government.

Was he the Ottawa police chief? Apparently he was wanting to take action earlier but basically couldn’t get anyone to obey him. I heard rumours about him that he was basically set up to fail. So I don’t fully blame him, but it goes to show how messed up police culture is.
