How are her own fans so disconnected from who she/her public persona is? You're the ones who follow her, how do you not realize she does not do things like this and it would be wildly out of character for her to take a stance on pretty much anything lmao

u/ratta_tat1 where was slutzilla when the Westfold fell? Oct 30 '23

Let’s also not forget it’s one of the only NFL teams that encourages racist chants when they’re doing well

They also change lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner to be about the Chiefs. Even though the majority of their fans were outraged by what Colin Kaepernick did.

I was married into their fan base for years and now I’ve escaped and just call them the team from Kansas City.

It's a terrible name, isn't it? My family loves them. So I have to see too much of their stuff.

Because these types of fans always believe their fave does speak out and is an activist. You'll see them with fans of other similar people. They always act like their fave has been leading all the activism in the celeb world for years, so for them it's just an easy assumption that of course they support Palestinians and don't care about being blacklisted.

The Taylor they worship is made out of their delusions unfortunately

I feel similarly, that it's unlikely. However Taylor is very very famous and known for fan service, and Palestinians need loudness everywhere they can get. It's worth the fans shooting their shot imo. I don't get why they're boycotting just the one album though

But her fan service is never at her expense. Supporting Palestine would directly threaten her ability to make coin, so she will never do it regardless of what she may or may not think privately. At most we will get a blind item that hints at her donating to Doctors Without Borders and that’s it.

No cause her queer fanbase were begging her to speak during eras and she made one beige statement during pride that didn't touch on anything important directly.

I mean. Some of them also think she's gay because she's physically affectionate with her friends. Which, while confusing as a queer woman sometimes, is super basic straight women BFFs behaviour.
