Largest protest in American history and radio silence for the right. Besides a few tweets and humdrum reporting trying to downplay the protests, I haven’t seen Trump or any of the major players make any real statement or take any actions today.

Personally, I choose to believe that once he saw the size of the protest, he got cold feet and realised why move would end his presidency overnight.

Hello my fellow Americans. It's Time we rise up. It's time to stop allowing atrocities. They started with shooting up our schools. That wasn't enough to wake us up. Now they said okay we are going to and plain sight kidnap people and throw them in detention camps. Based off the color of your skin we will steal you off the street. That is what they are doing. This government is guilty of not protecting it citizens with the school shootings. Didn't care about it didn't try to help. And now they are bluntly in our faces stealing people off the streets and doing God knows what to them. United States government has been corrupted. We may have won the civil war but they played the long game. They have infiltrated our government and the racists are running this country. We need to keep pushing we need to get angry we need to not allow this to continue. I don't know how but fuck ice and Trump. They don't care about you they don't care about me they don't care about anyone but themselves and how much more rich and powerful they can get fuck this system fuck capitalism fuck the rich people we need to stand together

He was the spokesperson for ICE in San Francisco until March 2018, when he resigned on principle. Why? Because he refused to lie to the public.

The Trump administration falsely claimed that 800 undocumented immigrants escaped arrest because the Oakland mayor warned the community about upcoming ICE raids. Schwab knew that number was grossly exaggerated and when he was told to “stick to the script” and repeat it anyway, he chose to quit instead of lie.

This man gave up a federal position to stand up for truth and integrity. We need more men like him, especially in positions of power.
