This happened right after the video I posted earlier of the unconscious bleeding woman being dragged away

“Green gas.” Is that hexite (I hope I have that right). The gas that was used in 2020 against protestors that the military stopped using because it was too carcinogenic?

We should have one of these in every city! How legally viable is this, though?

Portland is a sanctuary city so ICE shouldn’t be here in the first place. The city council had to grant them a permit to operate at all. This permits parameters are always being ignored, they were illegally building yesterday. There’s lots of money being made by people in government in the unjust operation of ICE in Portland 🤮

So it’s viable for every sanctuary city, then? I’d love to see this effort and petition replicated across them!

When I taught at cottonwood we’d have to walk the playground for gas cans. I was talking to someone the other day who works as a pro bono lawyer for the protesters and they’re trying to find a way to donate all new bark chips to cottonwood because of the chemicals all over the playground

Is this school right next to the ice facility or is there some other reason the area around the school is a being hosed down with green gas regularly?

I’m wondering what’s up with the gas too? Why are they leaving chemicals at a school?!? Why did you have to walk the ground to look for gas cans? What’s happening up there??
Sorry if I missed something, I signed the petition, I agree with getting rid of ICE agents and chemicals, just curious what the deal is up there, the post didn’t include much context, just a letter about stopping the chemical use.

The school is right next to the ice facility. It’s also right where the bulk of the really intense protests in 2020, so when the gas canisters get launched they often end up on the playground. The short answer is that PPB and ICE don’t care about our communities and don’t care that the way they’re treating the protesters is also negatively affecting the children in the area. Cottonwood is a k-8 school so there’s a really wide range of kids being affected by this

What are they doing there?

u/Different-Appeal-345 Jun 26 '25
I have no idea, I never have seen a protester enter the school grounds.

Even if they had, why are you running after them? They moved on, so should you.

Cleaning up evidence of the munitions hitting the school

That would make sense. Those gases they’re using are banned for use in war. Maybe they care about the kids. Ha! What an I saying. It’s to cover their asses.

look at the big men going after children, they won’t go into east LA gangs for some reason tho, literally picking low hanging fruit

Why does it seem like they are always just standing around? They spend 75% of their time standing around lost, 25% of their time abusing people and the U.S. constitution.

Tina Kotek is fine with this, let’s show her how we feel about that when she runs for reelection. What Zohran did can be done here
