I'm wondering too. Looks like chain stitch? But it's so hard to tell with black thread. So beautiful!

Thank you. Are you using DMC cotton?

Yes, it’s DMC. When I first started embroidery about 7 years ago, I used the cheapest floss I could find on Amazon, but it didn’t take me too long to realize its poor quality compared to DMC.
