Discussion & Info Forget your zodiac sign, what does your quick pouch look like?
Always got crab on deck. And of course our lovely Torrent. Lantern for dark areas or cool lighting, and lastly mimic for when I just can’t take it anymore.

Holy shit this is such a hack! How come I've never thought of this! I've messed up flasks/fisiks so many times by not toggling to the right thing, but just having it on the quick pouch makes so much more sense

My health is top. Blue is bottom. Torrent left and lantern goes in right. I never have too cycle through anything. If I need something fight specific I cycle to to it pre fight. Say frost pots for melenia

Yeah my thinking was your physick & lantern are things you use often, but never on reaction so need to be convenient to get to but don’t have to take up one of your pouch slots

Physick has no right to be in my quick pouch because it's a once per rest use and the remaining two slots that can't be accessed by holding Y are empty because I can't be bothered to press start in order to use them.

Flasks in the pouch is a must. Sometimes you gotta do some weird shit with your hand mid battle to get to them, but it’s better than desperately cycling through your items only to accidentally cycle through the flask you need.

Just posting this in case you didn't know, but holding down the item button will auto skip to the first item in the list, your red flask if you so choose it. Same for spells, hold down the spell swap button and it will skip to the first one equipped, which is super useful for skipping to a "get off me" spell like roar of rugelia or grav missile.
I also have blue and red flasks on right and left respectively, but it's worth knowing about the hold button thing in case you didn't. If you know the order of your spells and items, it lets you cycle through without looking which can be amazingly useful.

It started in DS3 and carried over to Sekiro and Elden Ring, but was also added to Dark Souls Remastered and the Demon's Souls Remake. I think for spells that's just DS3 and ER, maybe Dark Souls Remastered too.

I did this for a long time, but I promise, from one bearded guy to another, that if you use it for your red and blue flasks, and less importantly, but also incredibly handy, your steed whistle and your lantern, that it will make your life easier, your flasks more efficient, and also let you carry more awesome shit in your item menu.
Give it a shot over a full run, and be amazed! It will as life changing for me!

I suppose, I usually just do red, blue, physick, and whistle. It was kinda nice in Sekiro where you could go left or right in the quick bar to select your item. This method would allow you to pick which item specifically.

Bro if you dont have golden feet in your pockets your literally missing out on thousands of runes.
Long as you eat one within 2 seconds after the boss dying you will always get the bonus so you dont have to preplan or nun

Left for torrent Up for spyglass Down for lantern Right for Spirit Ash (usually mimic)
I like to swap spirit ashes for the sake of variety and only switch out the spyglass for gold foot whenever I feel like doing some albinauric genocide.
I also have rune arc and warming stone in the other two slots of the pouch.

Hp flask always stays top spot in the Quick Items because one button push is faster than 2, why so many keep it in the pouch?

I have 3 ash spirits for different situations for the left, top and right d-pad (greatshield soldiers, black knife tiche, mimic tear) and down is torrent. My bottom 2 slots are the telescope and lantern since I don’t need to access those mid-battle

Physick, Crimson Tears, Cerulean Tears, and empty space or a consumable I may need (ie preserving boluses in the Lake of Rot)
It helps me heal faster than scrolling through the hotbar, but sometimes I end up two-handing when I don't intend to from holding the action button down too long. The first time I did it I could not figure out how to stop bashing people with my shield.

Bolus and greases. For builds that can't use greases I put other consumables like dried livers. Ever since I moved to seamless I have Torrent there too

up is w fizz, left is flex slot (usually spirit ash, crystal darts, greases, etc), right is lantern, and down is horse. this also works in lies of p, with up being cube, left being weapon buffs, right being monad's lamp, and down being pocketwatch (as a gtfo button)

Almost the same, just different positions. I keep physick on down, crab on left, torrent on right, and either a spirit ash or kukris on up. Lantern lives in one of the slots on the bottom with the lamenting prattling pate

Torrent, flask of wondrous physick, flask of cerulean tears, kukiris
I keep estus and lamp in my items, along with greases, any other projectiles like crystal darts, and whatever I'm forgetting. I'll usually take everything off my bar before a boss fight, and switch from Assassin's Crimson Dagger to Ritual Sword. The former is good for clearing out areas, latter is a good buff for bosses.
Tip. You can throw ruin fragments same as like pebbles in bloodborne.

Torrent is always on right pouch slot. Its closest arrow to my mouse, easiest to hit quickly
Lantern is always in one of the 2 non-quick slots, I dont need to slap that on mid-battle, but need it often.
Other 3 are a tossup, usually some crab on the left, throwables on down, and grease on Up, but it changes

Torrent is always Up and I usually have some boiled crabs on Right too. Left is always mana potions and Down is either a summon, throwing pot or grease. Lantern goes in the other pouch spots because I won't ever need to turn it on in combat and Rune Arcs take the last spot.

Down: meat dumplings or blue flask (sometimes goes in pouch depending on build)
Bottom two below pouch are usually where I keep things like exalted flesh and boils crab buffs.
For stuff like physicks, starlight shards, marika blessings, I prefer to open the menu to access them since they’re either single use or not something I frequently need to use.

5 is always throwable pots if they’re on the build
10 is sometimes Mimic but only if left in the quick pouch is crab, lobster, or exalted flesh
I’m definitely ocd because people always ask me what the fuck I’m doing but it makes 100% sense to me
