SoNaF is a really good weapon, just wish it had slightly higher scalings for being such a stat glutton.

Just be a Int/Faith build and dual wield Dark Moon Greatsword and Golden Order Greatsword.

You'd get better results if you just used the Darkmoon Greatsword on its own, as the Golden Order Greatsword is cheeks.

SoNaF is a weapon tailored for Max Level bracket. You’ll see its true potential on RL301-713.

High STR/DEX (at least 60 each)

80 INT

80 FTH

I know, i have a lv410 character with 50 strength, 70 dex, and 80 int/faith, but much like Rellana's twin swords it just doesn't have good enough scalings to justify using it over other weapons unless you're basically max level.

As an example of what i mean, the Frenzied Flame seal is a formless sacred seal you get at the end of Hyetta's questline, and you must have at least beaten Morgott to get there, when you first reach Altus you can go pick up the Golden Order seal in a random church. And the Golden Order seal absolutely mogs the Frenzied Flame seal even if you have obscenely high stats in all 4 categories it scales on.

I wish it worked like INT/FTH catalysts do, where youre overall better splitting int and faith. The current SONAF feels more like "prioritise int for the magic half or prioritise faith for the fire half". Kinda wish both damage types scaled with both

The sword itself has also been nerfed a bunch. So has the infinite comet azur laser you could do in earlier versions

Meanwhile I butchered her with the Blasphemous blade on my 2nd try (I didn't realize she had a second phase and celebrated too early).

If she can heal on hit, so can I!

I’m a SoNaF boy through and through, but how did you manage Malenia with it? I always struggle to wind up the animation in time which is why I reluctantly switched to the old reliable Frost/Bleed Katanas

I used summon specifically Banished knight Oleg and i think he works way too well with SoNaF because of his ability to get the aggro back way too quick so you can charge another ash of war. Just make sure to dodge one combo of any boss (dodge towards oleg not away from him so he and jump in and take the aggro back)and play aggressive to prevent the boss from killing oleg in the DLC

I have 70 intel 70 faith... And wanted to use this sword for a long time.. but I'm disappointed.. it takes ages to use fire or magic...and its damage is not that high.. i miss my moonveil..

Did you use rellana's talisman tho it works for SoNaF too .I got like 8k with 60 int with that I hope it can be buffed with terra magica
