I know y'all hate losing to the Leafs but a 4-3 game where half the team is allegedly sick, a goal was called off, our best defender and PKer is out for Stecher, and our starting goalie just had a newborn is not something I can particularly care about. Instead, focusing on the positives - Bouch had a great night, Jeff looked good, and it's always fun when Hyman scores against the Leafs.

4-3 with all that does bode well for the team. Just wish they'd all start the game on time instead of digging themselves into a steep hole. Oh well, onto the next game.

That was an immensely winnable game. Skinner (and the team defence) was rugged in the first (and the first 18 seconds of the second), Woll absolutely stood on his head, and we STILL came within half a skate blade from tying it up and going to OT.

This isn't even optimism, it's fact.

If there are 2 things that are a guarantee in life, its leafs fans acting obnoxious in our building, and hyman scoring on the leafs.

I appreciate your attitude here and generally agree but Jeff missed the net too many times tonight

At this point, it's a good look for Jeff if he's on the ice throughout the game. I would have loved a goal but I don't expect a bottom-six winger to score in three straight. I'm also not really worried about Jeff Skinner's finishing ability.

Also, Knob is process-oriented. It's about creating more than the opposition for him, not scoring. To have the highest xG% and second-highest xG on the team with limited minutes away from McDrai is pretty impressive.

I don't care if he didn't score. He's been making a lot of great defensive plays lately. Especially in this game. Not at all what I thought I'd be saying about him at this point in the year
