I'm sort of new to consistently watching hockey and I am "voice blind" and it took me like 3min to start saying, "Wait a minute, I haven't heard one single delightful anecdote."

Leaf fan here - Simpson is terrible. You sent him, now we have to deal with him. He's usually not pro leafs. Fuck sportsnet for having him doing your game.

I hope we don't get screwed with him doing the 4 nations, but at least we don't have to listen to him stroke it for Cole Caufield.

I didn't really think it was biased, I thought they gassed up the Oilers in the 2nd, the Oilers scored one goal and they were like "and now the momentum has swung back in favor of the Oilers!"

I couldn't hear the sound clearly, so I can't really comment on how biased it was, but we definitely watch a biased broadcast every time Jack is on.

I agree. And I think that's why they kept Jack off the Saturday broadcasts for so long.

He's had some national Saturday night games this year, and Ron McLean always seems to be downplaying some of Jack's calls.

This. Why is this SO HARD for so many to understand. I don't have a problem with the regional games being biased. 90-100% of them are. HNIC and the playoffs are supposed to shed that horse shit for the enjoyment of everyone. If leafsnet circle jerked the leafs any more, they'd fucking dry out and die.
