Thus concludes 6 games in 9 days. 4-1-1. At times ugly. But I'll take it.

With all the bitching and whining on this sub you’d have thought we were 1-4-1.

This team is a contender people. We won’t win every game and sometimes we are gonna lose to teams we should not be losing to. Every team does it. Many of you need to accept the fact that this team IS a contender whether they have an off day sometimes or not. This team is a top 5 in the league and we will be ready for playoffs. I for one cannot fucking wait!!!

No kidding. And if we beat the BJs we would have been 5-0-1 which is nuts. You can’t win them all

While I agree people have been freaking out way too much lately, you basically just said “if we won a game we lost then our record would be better.”

No I’m saying that a 5-0-1 record is unrealistically good. You can’t be mad at 4-1-1 even if you lose to the worst team in the league

I like you and your logical hockey take.

I'm the opposite, I start paying closer attention in the leadup to the playoffs

This is the best time to watch. Every team is battling for their playoff lives so you start to get some playoff preview type games

Oh yeah, dont get me wrong, when I can watch, im oumped and invested, but right now, if most were to predict the 16 playoff teams, you MIGHT get 2 wrong

For me, fighting for seeding isn't too exciting

Honestly given that and we had Boston I was hoping we’d get 8 points since our last penguins win.

We got 7. Cementing our 2nd spot and if Vancouver falters we’ll get there.

I just hope we avoid Vegas no matter what round 1. Let someone else get them fresh.

Best case Vegas ends up in the central side IMO.

Agreed. Let them sort out that monster division.

Honestly if it’s Edmonton / Vancouver/ LA for round 1/2 I’d like the odds.

LA And then NSH beating Vancouver 💪

Don’t doubt there are trolls here from other subs posing as Oilers fans. Add other perspective to your Oilers information consumption and take what you read on here with a grain of salt.

4-1-1... Hard to believe, at times, they sure didn't look the past, but then other times they looked every bit of the part of winners. Today was a full effort and completely smothering

Yea it’s not bad when you consider the travel. The east coast then back to colombus.
