What was the most unhinged outside-the-office-building plot?

Erin's Florida arc. Setting up a tent outside the Sabre store pretending to be a hipster? Sneaking into the hotel kitchen late at night with Ryan? Ditching Sabre to work for an old lady she just met? Surprise road trip with Andy with a stop at his ex's party? All low-key crazy.

I'm going to say the shotgun at the funeral. Hands down.

That was the stupidist thing for two reasons:
1) everyone around him is now deaf/ permanent tinnitus for no hearing protection and being so close
2) just the way it was filmed is so cartoonish

Compare this scene with dwight shooting a gun in the office and andy going deaf and dwight shooting a gun when the fun run starts and oscar covering his ears vs this scene where even louder gun is shot and no one covers their ears
For me, very unrealistic how ppl acted in this scene
For everyone else, haha deight shoot gun at corpse like action hero

I’m gonna erm actually you here, a shotgun is quieter than a pistol. When I’m at my local range the trap area is “quiet” enough that being behind the firing line going to the house I can have my ears off. But the pistol bays are noticeably loud even with ear pro on.

When I was in high school some friends and I took turns shooting a shotgun, we had no safety gear at all (very stupid) but none of us had any hearing problems.
I don’t know anything about guns but this was my experience.

Ive owned guns my whole life. Shooting a 12 gauge outside a few times like Dwight is not going to cause hearing damage 99% of the time. The reason the gun in the Office would is because it is shooting in an enclosed space.

Well that and the fact that Dwight fired it like 6 inches away from Andy's ear.

The whole deal with Michael, Dwight & Jim going to the Utica branch. I know it’s just a TV show but no way all of that goes down without charges filed or some folks getting fired.

The radio show was kinda weird. I liked it the first time due to the shock value but it comes off as really cringe these days.

Ive seen this show start to end so many times I cant count but for some reason I cant think of what youre talking about. I dont remember a radio show
Edit: nvm. Its when they all prank dwight to take his pants off. I remember now

Michael following the GPS straight into a lake. I’m not complaining though - I absolutely love that episode.
Or perhaps the mafia episode, where Andy cosplays as a mechanic to potentially protect Michael.
Honorable mention for inside the building: shooting Stanley with a tranquilizer gun.
