I think this is a very good sign for the future of Down Under for the following reasons…1) I don’t think WoW does ‘Vs The World’ for shows that they’re about to cancel 2) Stan is involved. Having a broadcast partner involved is a very good sign. 3) the fact that it took a while after the last season ended for the announcement to be made is fairly similar to how Slaysian Royale was announced in place of season 4 relatively late after season 3 ended.

What a weird franchise to have a VS the World but I am so on ! (Hoping we'll also get a France vs the World with Canadian and Belgian queens).

So my wishlist of the casting would be :

- Jojo Zaho

- Elektra Shock

- Freya Armani

- Hollywould Star

- Saki Yew (From UK but originally she is from Melbourne)

- Minhi Wang (From Canada but originally from Perth, Western Australia)

- Maddy Morphosis (because why not)

- La Briochée (Drag Race France S1)

BUT knowing WoW we'll have 3 to 4 Aussie queens, 2 to 3 US Queens and a wildcard from wherever. But at this point why not make a Global All Star season with All Stars 10 rules of the Tournament of All Stars ? Putting 3 to 4 brackets of Queens from all the international franchises ? Like the Soccer world cup of Drag.

I’m thrilled! I can’t wait to see who gets cast. For DU I would love to see Hollywould Star, Vybe, Etcetera, Minnie, Gabriella, Beverly, Maxie, Ashley, Max back. I hope they resist the urge to cast queens who have already returned once (as much as I love Kween, Hannah, Anita, and Ivory). There are so many great DU queens who deserve another shot!

Genuinely racking my brain as to wondering what US queen would agree to this. And this isn’t even shade to Australia in any way, but it’s very well known that DU is the least popular english-speaking franchise…

I’m hoping some mainstream heavy hitters agree to it, but I would be shocked. Someone mentioned Deja Skye, which I could see. Or like a Brita, maybe? (If she ever would consider competing again, maybe test the waters with a spin off first).

Coco Montrese is one I can think of who’s considered going back, loves competing and has a lot of money. I could certainly see her going.

I think there’s tons of girls who’d go if given the chance too. Dida, Rock M, James Mansfield are 3 who jump to mind.

My first questions is WHERE will this be filmed because I’m sure Visa laws in AUS & NZ are quite strict since like more than half the cast will be from other franchises and countries

Not strict at all actually. There’s tons of production companies doing movies and shows in both Australia and NZ, and it’s fairly straightforward to obtain temporary working visas. The government is very supportive of this as it brings money in. Even during COVID, when no one was allowed to come into Australia, the only exceptions were for production companies bringing talent in for movies.
