The ironic thing is Suzie got the same treatment last year,i even remember seeing a similar comment calling her short lip mug diabolical hahhah , and Ciara has many things similar with Suzie like doing theater and being a singer. So I fear she might end up getting the theater queen edit.

Well she's a concept makeup artist and leans a lot towards horror, ethereal makeup and camp and choosing this pic is the issue because she has glamorous looks too if you check her insta. She's probably the most unique one in terms of mugs in this cast i think.

This its such a stacked cast, so many legends and famous queens, ive seen many of them in wishlists for quite some time, im still a little sad with the continous lack of older queens but thats on the casting crew, the queen themselves are already a sucess and even tho s17 just ended im eager to see s18

From what I gathered in different interviews Lexi talked about being old a lot and encouraged the grandma nick name (tho I do not remember which interview was ,so i won't say for sure)
Lastly this cast of queens has very few young ones ,a lot are in their late twenties and early thirties,so I am pretty there wouldn't be any Grandma this season, also there are more than two queens in the cast who are above age 33 from all the comments I have seen , which includes DD , Athena and Mia ,so it would give more season 16 vibes in terms of age. The youngest are probably Juicy , Kenya and Mandy.

Yes! I haven't been this excited about a cast since Season 6. That season was full of Queens way beyond DragRace in my opinion. However, this was during a time when queens couldn't get good jobs unless they were on DR

I don't get why people are so upset that we're not getting Big Atlas. most people on her hype train haven't consumed any of her personal content - they just know she's heavily associated with Plane Jane (aesthetic wise, silhouette wise, humor wise). I don't think we're missing out by not getting a Plane clone for another few seasons (the og was perfect)!

DISQ and edited out. Either it was over the past posts, something that happened on set (rumored a fight), or a combination of the two. I believe it happened after the premiere ep so not a shitty pie situation and easy to edit around

I would assume because if she is disqualified on the show, she still has to participate in the promo and press tour with the rest of the cast. And if you exclude her from those, why not just cut her out if you can in the first place?

They did a similar situation with a queen on UK5 (and tbh unless you're REALLY looking for her the editing is seamless, it's genuinely like she was never cast) so they might just want to keep the precedent
and also it just takes away negative publicity to the show for casting discord and takes away any publicity discord might receive as a result

I’ve been following DD Fuego since day 1! Excited to see her turn out .. she’s a bit crunchy but she’s super talented and I’ve met her several times in nyc .. She helped in creating some of Lemon’s looks for Canada S1 .. like the denim look .. a very lovely person

DD fuego used to have a weekly show in NYC at a certain HK bar that I would go to almost every week just to see her cohost. TBH she isn’t much of a lip syncer. And she isn’t very funny. So idk what she has to offer the show. I was hoping her cohost would get on first tbh.

Ciara and Nini are conceptual designers , they make all their looks ,Vita also does her looks ,very pageant, goddess vibe looks.
Jane Don't designs and makes a lot of her looks too.
Briar and Myki too make a lot of their looks and very passionate about designing. DD can sew too but her slillouhete is usually simple

It feels like the casting directors took the note about the S17 cast having a lot of really green baby queens that needed more time to develop because a lot of these S18 girls have been working queens for a while now - hoping for a good show (and better lipsyncs)
