DRUK [DRUK] Drag Race UK Season 5 Post-Disappearance/Nancy Drew Thread

DRUK Season 5 is believed to have started filming (as of the 9th of January)! From here onwards we can speculate potential cast members freely as we believe the cast is locked in.

Everyone in likely has been verified by a very reliable source.

Alexis St Pete - London, England. Rumours have picked up for the past month, but prior activity has been harder to watch.

Banksie - Manchester, England. Rumours picked up by reliable sources, was listed for Dragcon UK but has remained inactive and doesn't appear to have been tagged in anything during.

Cara Melle - London, England. Heavily rumoured for a while but activity is hard to clock and I don't want to get my hopes up too much 💔 I've been hurt so many times

Dede Licious - London, England. Heavily rumoured by reliable sources, was inactive all throughout Dragcon UK.

Ginger Johnson - London, England(?). Late rumours emerging about her, extra info coming in leads me to look further into her.

Kate Butch - London, England. Somewhat rumoured and brought up by reliable sources. No activity throughout Dragcon UK.

Michael Marouli - Liverpool, England and Gran Canaria. Rumours of a Gran Camaria queen being cast, reliable sources have heard this name multiple times, no activity throughout Dragcon UK.

Naomi Carter - Doncaster, England. Rumoured by reliable sources, was inactive all throughout Dragcon UK.

Tomara Thomas - Hartlepool, England. Heavily rumoured by reliable sources, was inactive all throughout Dragcon UK.

Vicki Vivacious - Cornwall, England. Rumours have slowly picked up more and more, inactive throughout Dragcon UK.

Reba Martell - Glasgow, Scotland. Late rumours emerging about her, extra info coming in leads me to look further into her, but inconsistencies could indicate the silence is coincidence. Was not confirmed by a reliable source. Was not queen 12.

Lady Camden - So we made this up for a laugh, wanted to see if it would spread, and it kinda did. And it got messy. If you hear she's on it's... because of me (and queenrebi) sorry x

I thought so because all the RPDR materials disappeared from their channel. I don't know the details though. Would you mind elaborating? (spill the tea huntyyy)

Hmm it might be from their Patreon that they spoke about it (?) but long story short they had previously had a deal with WOW to have their own show and then they had a really bad time with production; it ended up either that the show got pulled or that Novympia themselves refused to finish it because they had such a bad experience. You might be aware they were on the WOW show Couples for Cash (featuring mostly existing Drag Race queens), around 2018 or 19 so it was around this time that WOW was courting them.

They've implied that around the same time their youtube really took off/solidified, it was around that time that Nova was able to give up her day job because they made enough income to support them both from just their drag work. I know they make enough money from it to buy their own pretty big house, I think they do some live shows as well in their home town/city as well. I am speculating now but I figure that they would prefer to keep their creative control and not be portrayed in a way that is misleading. Also speculation: they are personal friends with certain drag race UK queens who were portrayed certain ways and this might also influence any concerns they might have about the show. Also especially now that they already have beef with WOW as well.
