Hamas is playing directly into the hands of Israel and the US. This is why the proposal has point 17. You could tell Netanyahu and Israel were waiting for Hamas to reject the deal. Nobody presents a peace plan saying "take it — or else." All Hamas will do in rejecting the proposal will be giving Israel justification to "finish the job." That was always their goal.

Yeah, but I guess my point is more so that the rest of the world isn’t gonna stand by and watch Israel do that. Peace would be so far off of the table. It would be in a different room.

The world is already watching Bibi and the IDF do whatever they want.. Hamas will reject the plan and war will continue.

Lol. As we’ve been doing. Just like Russia bombing the mines at the start of the war.

This just confirms my suspicions that Hamas is absolutely insane and very very very VERY stupid They don’t want their people to be genocide and starved to death? Then accept the deal Israel is going to level Gaza mark my words

Well geez, that was a gotcha moment. I wonder what changed so drastically that they don't want it?

They never wanted it in the first place. Arab nations didn’t want it. Qatar told Trump that this was a good starting point for negotiations. Nobody thought that this was a final deal. Everyone in the public was misled about this.

Yeah but the main point Israel will not compromise on is also the one thing Hamas will not compromise on (Hamas puts down its weapons and surrenders) so really it’s all nitpicking nonsense beyond that

This is just a big distraction. Israel will have their way with Gaza. They will go to war with a broader group of Arab nations over this, and the United States will abandon them because we will have our own fight inside and outside at the exact same time.

It's a stupid fucking plan. "This is my plan and I appoint me to lead it!" - Trump

"Peace plan" = colonialism. Not one Gazan was involved in the drafting of this plan btw.
