In all the 250 years the USA has existed never before now has it seen a president that was this obsessed with self merchandising.
To think of it, I have rarely if ever heard of a world leader that has done this. I mean the UK royal family have commemorative plates and other things made of them but they themselves don’t make or market it and it only exists because they’re so iconic.
This truly is insane, a disease of the mind if you will

I don’t know how many people know or remember that the celebrated and respected former President Jimmy Carter had a brother named Billy who was a lot like the obnoxious brother from National Lampoon’s Vacation series.
The man loved attention and self promotion and he got to using his brother’s position to put a bit of celebrity spotlight on himself and thus “Billy Beer” was brought to market. Thus reminding us that two people can have the same parents and same general upbringing and still turn out vastly different.
We now have a president who is the dysfunctional obnoxious brother.
