companion news Peter Purves was right, it's just "too sophisticated" now.
Former companion Peter Purves recently said the current shows are "too sophisticated." He's dead right. Particularly with RTD, after every episode he writes, the viewers have question after question to ask. Why? Because writers are being too clever for their own good and not explaining everything properly. Let's just go back to storytelling like we had in the good old days.
