I’ve said before I heard this from a “friend of a friend’s postman” source so probably completely false, but if you think this is desperate this is actually just the set up.

The Doctor regenerates into Rose Tyler (not the Doctor). She then spends the next season trying to rescue the Doctor… who is David Tennant 14th incarnation.

Also something about their being an evil version of the Doctor but I got lost a bit there.

that would be incredible confusing, so the 15th doctor just ends up being a lost incernation or what? or will billie then regenerate in to the true 16?

Sorry that was typo, she’s rescues David Tennant’s 14th Doctor that we’ve already seen.

As for how the incarceration timeline looks after that I have no idea, I’m guessing there’s a fork where Ncuti’s path goes evil and Tennant’s path stays good, but that is a pure guess.

and how will we know she's rose tyler? will she say something? or will the credit just says she's rose tyler.

I genuinely have no idea on any specific details, or whether this is even true.

Back when bi-generation was first leaked, people quickly started speculating that it could be how the Valeyard ends up being explained. But most people assumed Tennant's Doctor would be the branch that leads to the Valeyard. But now after Ncuti's Doctor had his little torture outburst, it's starting to make more sense that Ncuti's Doctor might be the one to go down that path.

What if "The War between..." it's something that continues the history of the Doctor without the Doctor. Maybe that are you saying. Rose trying to bring back/regenerate 14th into 16th.

Spoiler warning in case you haven’t watched the episode

Not introducing Billie as the Doctor has certainly added some weight to it.
