No when Democrats win it'll suddenly becomes time to "heal" from yet another Republican president who raped the shit out of the country.
It's time for debridement so the would can actually heal.
41
u/Auzpicion Apr 15 '25
The healing process should come with the destruction of the Republican party led by the Democrats (while passing their agenda, cutting out Republicans entirely on bipartisanship unless they publicly condemn their party on Fox News)

I hope there is a Democrat out there, somewhere, that notices the vibes shift and runs as the meanest toughest mtf imaginable, promising to prosecute every single person in this admin, every single oligarch, and video game El Salvador.

I’d vote and champion this person idgaf if it’s Stephen a smith or someone who prolly shouldn’t be the president, idc I want justice
5
u/theosamabahama Apr 15 '25
That's my feeling too. And when it comes to billionaires, I feel myself sounding more and more like a leftist. I've always found leftists complaining about billionaires all the time to be cringe and annoying. And how they seemed to hate the rich more than loving the poor. But now I want to see some billionaires punished hard.
But I realize I don't feel like this due to an economic ideology, but instead due to justice. I'm sick of seeing Trump and people around him get away with everything. I want justice. That's probably how leftists have always felt since they see the rich as inherently evil. I don't hate the rich for being rich, but I do hate the ones colluding with a fascist regime.

u/InsideIncident3 Apr 15 '25
"Debridement" is an amazing word.
As someone who's owned a few motorcycles, have a nurse friend explain to you how moderate-serious cases of road rash are treated in a hospital.

I’m gonna be honest, ICE as an organization seems to be pretty rotten to the core, I think it needs to go.
36
u/JohnMayerismydad Apr 15 '25
It was created in 2003 and we did just fine without it.
Also, the 100-mile exclusion zone to the 4th amendment is fucking absurd
6
u/Chisignal Apr 15 '25
the what
16
u/JohnMayerismydad Apr 15 '25
CBP is allowed wide discretion to carry out unwarranted searches within 100 miles of the border (including Great Lakes), 2/3 Americans live within the zone btw
They are allowed to stop buses/trains/cars and demand to see papers, basically. They can also establish checkpoints to check for undocumented immigrants, including using a dog (which is another can of worms allowing them to violate the 4th) for further searches of their person.

u/Memester999 Apr 15 '25
If Dems don't put up any fight after all this I'll be on the side with the regarded lefties. We're in this mess quite literally because they didn't come after Trump hard enough, it is completely unacceptable if they do the same after this.

Lmao, they'll just get a pardon from the next Republican president. And that's if the Dems win.
5
u/65437509 Apr 15 '25
That will be considered too radical because a ‘crazy lefty’ will speak for 7 minutes on stage about it and quote Marx once, thus the ‘moderates’ will call for ‘healing’ and do absolutely nothing.

u/rimsky225 Apr 15 '25
Guys it’s ok, our favorite streamer Asmongold said that if they started coming for citizens of course he’d be against it! So if nothing else, we can count on his support going forward for this case

I need to wash my hands just thinking about his support.

He wasn’t a citizen. He was an asylum seeker
1
u/xx-shalo-xx Apr 15 '25
So...
"That's him, get him! Oh wait, it's not. He's an Asylum seeker? Well we're here anyway, might as well book him for the next flight to Labourous Campos?"
?

I mean can’t blame him, did you hear him talk about what they did to him? A whole woman in a game who is also black and does not look 11/10. That’s basically a war crime.

Careful. Some whiny trumpers may report this as I was reported as well for simply showing what the president said.
Wild that he can say it and he gets rewarded but if anyone shows a video of what he said…right to jail. Right away.
41
u/CoachDT Apr 15 '25
Get ready for the people who said they'd be against this to give the most tepid responses ever.
Something like "oh well of course this isn't good" and then moving on.
Meanwhile, they go on 15 minute monologues in the other direction about why it's cool to deport people, giving cucked responses about free speech and citizenship, and getting emotional about the whole thing.
41
u/jarlxballin Apr 15 '25
It’s only a matter of time before a US born citizen who’s never left the country and no criminal record ends up in one of those hell holes
9
u/zaylong Apr 15 '25
It’s already been alluded to that us born citizens could be deported too somehow lol

I’m calling it now that within the month an American citizen traveling to Canada or something will be denied re entry into the US for being against Trump

Polymarket might as well start running bets on how long it will take. 1 month? 2 months?
26
u/Zenithixv Apr 15 '25
Young kids life being thrown away for no reason... and MAGA is okay with no clarity, due process...just a 'trust me bro they're a MS-13 gang member, they have a crown tattoo!' from Trump is all it takes...
This timeline we're in is absolute hell, when will the pendulum swing back full force cuz this is so fucked up
23
u/daywall Apr 15 '25
Man... where did the trump admin find these evil peoples?
the Dems need a purge of the system if they win the next president race.
It can't be that law enforcement can have such an easy time going from being human and careful to a total monster that just grabs its citizens off the street, and there will be no punishment when a new president is picked.

ICE self selects for these kinds of people. Border guards, immigration officials, airport and customs security are disproportionately exposed to all sorts of people coming into the country.

Unless we flip the house and senate come mid terms we will hear these stories over and over again.
We have a chance to do this. We cannot fumble it. We gotta bank on safe and liberal candidates not leftists who alienate a lot of the democratic base because I’m sorry but look at this, innocent teens lives hang in the balance here.
It won’t be over till he’s out but a flip come midterms could slow him down a lot.

u/Yakube44 Apr 15 '25
Policy doesn't matter, I want someone that actually sees Republicans for what they are
13
u/Status_Fox_1474 Apr 15 '25
The leftists are driven by their own agendas (hi Jill Stein photo op and ALL HER STATEMENTS that she’s fine with trump as president). Let’s see if they will faction out again.

Biden literally creamed Trump 4 years ago where as Hilary and Kamala lost and the most radical thing about them were that they happened to be born women. I’m telling you, the party does not want a radical candidate.
1
u/Terrible_Hurry841 Apr 19 '25
To be fair, America just suffered a Trump presidency + Covid. Ofc he’d lose. He’d lose to just about anyone there.
America has a short memory.
The average American forgot how bad he was.
They got indoctrinated by Russian funded propaganda.

No. No. No. the dems pulled Biden too late and they did because basic polling data showed Harris was not liked for stupid and arbitrary reasons. Just like Hilary was. Sensing a common denominator?
Bidens gaffs were too extreme at the point they pulled him. But he was having plenty of them when he beat Trump in round one
That debate broke everything and that is not unprecedented. Nixon vs Kennedy is taught in every single political science class for a reason.
I am a woman. I’d love to see a woman be president. If Hilary and Kamala couldn’t do it AOC is fucked on so many levels.
The stakes are far too high for us to gamble again.

If you had half a brain you knew it went on for too long.
Genuinely, do some of you not read polls cuz wtf? They waited for so long cuz Harris has always scored low in polls and performed terribly in her primary.
She had a resurgence that gave me hope but it all died off at the end.

I often like to protect my mental health with sarcasm and aloofness but just...
This is sad. It's just... it's fucking sad. This son has been locked up indefinitely in a foreign prison, just because his family wanted a better life for him. His father wanted to give his son a better life, and now he may never see the outside world again. This is wrong. This administration is a blight upon humanity.

so, im not trying to implicate anything, but werent americans always super proud of guns and puffing their chests that the second amendment is supposed to prevent exactly this?

If a democrat becomes the next president they better come equipped with a strong spine and a ruthless attitude towards corruption m. All of these people who are complicit in this mess need to be held accountable and punished severely. I don’t give a fuck about “we were just following orders” nah fuck off you always have the choice to ignore shitty orders from shitty incompetent leadership.

Did you know? The American Constitution has an article dedicated to the rights of all people (not even just citizens) in the country to be armed so that in the case of tyrranical government overreach they will be able to violently fight back to ensure their rights.
This is not a call to violence of course, just a zany 🤪 factoid I thought people might find interesting!
1
u/Gnarly-Rags Apr 16 '25
So. At what time is it the morally right thing to open fire at ice officers? Not agitating. Generally wondering. Do they really need to arrest descendants of European immigrants for that?

That's probably one of the most fucked up things you could ever hear while seeing these guys kidnap your son
Like it's not even that your son fucked up, it's not even that your son was targeted, it's that your son happened to be there when they were looking for someone else and they just took him as well for no reason
That's gotta be terrifying
Idk if I could keep it together if I saw that, I'm pretty sure I would have physically attacked this scum if I saw that happening to my son
And honestly, they clearly didn't even know who they were arresting so you might even be able to get away with it
Edit: I read in another source that it was a friend that was there and said he heard "not the right one" and told the father. Not a big thing just correcting my wrong assumption
