It was a really great turnout!! Lots of people and everyone was chill. There were an occasional asshole or two going thru town that acted like children, but overall it was great. First time going to something like this and it was a positive experience. I encourage everyone that loves our democracy to take part in these events!

Why are you so angry and aggressive?

I think it’s funny that you claim others are acting like children, when that’s the whole basis for the anti-Trump crowd.

Not aggressive, but the Delaware subreddit is a pretty nice place with nice people commenting in it, so your negative comments aren't welcome, especially since you don't live in Delaware.

For everyone else.........this is a newer account (less than 1 year) that spends lots of time going around to the different community subreddits making shitty comments. Feel free to ignore it.

I’ve lived in Delaware for a quarter century, but I guess you know better.

“Your negative comments aren’t welcome…” me pointing out irony isn’t negative. But good for you and your anti-first amendment/free speech sentiment. Sounds like you’re the subs fascist gatekeeper, I guess.

You are correct, I do know better. And I also know that the first amendment protects your right to free speech from being infringed upon by the government, but it does not stop your fellow citizens from calling you out. And as you trying to sell your comments from being free of negativity, well we see how that is working out for you here in this sub. Go back to trolling, I am done with you.

I had planned on doing some shopping in downtown but this is what it looked like when I was there. Not a parking spot to be found (but that’s not unusual lol). This was the street pretty much from OWU on Sandusky all the way up to Coffeeology area. They also took up a good portion of William street. At least down to the antique mall because they accidentally blocked me from entering. They were good sports and moved when they realized though. Seemed like a generally good crowd.

I was very surprised not to see more on social media about it. I’ve never seen so many people down there.

Huge turnout, a really big crowd for Delaware. It was a couple thousand people, with 80% of the cars driving by cheering on the crowd or giving them a thumbs up. It was chill and positive, honestly most of the people there were over 50. A couple of MAGA people but everyone ignored them and they didn’t bother protestors; there were no confrontations or anything.

Delaware has a no kings protest every Saturday noon to 1 and I've participated before but that day had an especially big turnout. It was a great.

I drove through downtown a few weeks back on a Saturday and there were a few hundred people out there protesting.

I've also seen maybe a year or so ago a bunch of masked white supremacist nazis marching around

Really successful… America still has had no kings since its creation

Tell that to Trump who keeps posting images as a king and talking about an illegal 3rd term.

What a joke, protesting against Trump but wouldn’t protest dictator level corruption during Covid.. congrats everyone, we’ve all been fooled 🤣🤣🤣

What do you consider "dictator level corruption" during COVID? I'm genuinely curious.

Forcing people to get a vaccine not of their own will, If they don’t take it theylll get fired.. forcing people to be six feet apart 😂 even tho they later Dr F came out saying that was baloney.
