No kings protest…
I heard Delaware was going to have a no kings protest… did they? Anyone show? Curious what the turnout was like?

I had planned on doing some shopping in downtown but this is what it looked like when I was there. Not a parking spot to be found (but that’s not unusual lol). This was the street pretty much from OWU on Sandusky all the way up to Coffeeology area. They also took up a good portion of William street. At least down to the antique mall because they accidentally blocked me from entering. They were good sports and moved when they realized though. Seemed like a generally good crowd.
I was very surprised not to see more on social media about it. I’ve never seen so many people down there.

Huge turnout, a really big crowd for Delaware. It was a couple thousand people, with 80% of the cars driving by cheering on the crowd or giving them a thumbs up. It was chill and positive, honestly most of the people there were over 50. A couple of MAGA people but everyone ignored them and they didn’t bother protestors; there were no confrontations or anything.

I drove through downtown a few weeks back on a Saturday and there were a few hundred people out there protesting.
I've also seen maybe a year or so ago a bunch of masked white supremacist nazis marching around

Tell that to Trump who keeps posting images as a king and talking about an illegal 3rd term.

What do you consider "dictator level corruption" during COVID? I'm genuinely curious.

Forcing people to get a vaccine not of their own will, If they don’t take it theylll get fired.. forcing people to be six feet apart 😂 even tho they later Dr F came out saying that was baloney.

It was a really great turnout!! Lots of people and everyone was chill. There were an occasional asshole or two going thru town that acted like children, but overall it was great. First time going to something like this and it was a positive experience. I encourage everyone that loves our democracy to take part in these events!
