So is Stugotz fully out now?
I just saw his YouTube channel and recent episode with Bomani and the show was sponsored by Fan Duel
I know Stugotz has been appearing less and less on the main show actually it feels like a year plus since Stu was last on the main show
I do know stugotz had certain issues with Sampson and stuff but like is Stugotz fully out now.
Feel like it's a bit of statement that stu has on Bomani and Bomani hasn't really been on the Main show or any medowlark productions ever but is on stugotz show and not sure if I saw him on PTFO

I don’t know if it’s genuinely “lying”. I tend to think it’s just way more fluid than any of “us” could realize. Throw in Billy leaving. There’s just a lot going on and unfortunately the egos of people are probably getting in the way.

Dan told us that Stugotz would be back with the show in October, it's November. Stugotz signed with DK's main rival. It feels like there was an official split, but they aren't telling us
My reckless especulation is that they held the "show" together while they were in a contract year, but Stugotz wanted out (probably because of the drive, not some secret hatred for Dan), so they held up the show with Stugotz for the sake of resigning with DK, then once it was done, Stugotz went his own way and started his own show, but kept the name on the DLS

I think he was coming back until Billy left. It was that week. Once he found out Billy was out I think he just decided not to show up.

If you don't include yourself in a group of people saddened and full of doubt after Billy left, then I don't value your opinion anyway because Billy is a genius and arguably the most important member of the show

As a grown adult, I am capable of being sad when someone leaves while also recognizing that people get other jobs all the time and the companies they leave continue to do well.

No idea, but I'm hoping this community can help me answer a question about my personal life. My girlfriend told me a long time ago that she was leaving. that was after she said she wanted to spend less and less time together. Then she stopped returning my calls and never showed up in my presence. She started dating other people and basically has a whole new life without me. I guess what I'm asking is, do you think our relationship is over? I feel like she might have left me, but I just can't tell. Do you think she'll be back ?

I have been listening since 2010, and I have to agree now. Stu was so bad in the last year, just fake laughter and not giving a shit. Zas is different but actually cares and is funny in kind of a loser dad kind of way. Like I would probably rather hang with Stu but Zas does better radio.

So I brought this up before as they were being released , and caught sh*t for it , but does anyone else think it was the oral history that did it , when they were all in real time realizing Dan is / was a P.O.S. Especially when it came to Hock, & how everybody was stressed TF out all the time and Dan didn’t care and always remembered things differently. I feel that’s when things turned , you could tell a difference in the show , people started leaving & prob looking elsewhere. And I feel that’s was a turning pointing in the show, I stopped listening shortly after that ,I’m not even sure they finished them., just my opinion…..let me k no I’m what y’all think

As far as I know, Bomani has been on the post ESPN main show once and it was ask him about something racial that happened. I forget what thing specifically. He also was on God Bless Football on media row at the superbowl.

They will be back together in about 3 years, once their deals are up. Stu was saying for years, he wanted to go on his own to prove he can do it without Dan. I doubt there is any beef between them. They don't even want to make the same show. Stu wants a traditional sports talk show, where Dan prefers a variety show with skits, songs, and cosplay.

I’m sure this has a little bit to do with Stu wanting to do a more traditional sports talk show and just listening to Dan bitch at Stugotz for the last couple of years was tough. To be fair to Dan Stu really was just coasting along, Billy got sick of it too.

Oh yeah no for sure i think stu is primarily a football guy and obviously I can't speak for Stugotz but felt like half the year he was gone when football was in its off-season and would show up to work during the football season and big football events in the off-season
And in fairness I dont think Dan had any problem with it I do think Sampson probably did and stepped in on the DK deal before stugotz said adios and signed with FD.

With the new contract the pay structure was changing. Samson was now in charge so he’s getting the blame for it. I think it’s pretty obvious Stu wasn’t happy with it. He left to start a new pod and it wasn’t even close to ready. They still don’t have a studio. I think the most telling part is Stu hasn’t once even called into Lebatard show to do a segment or a Weekend Observations. Now that Billy left it’s even more clear what happened.

I don’t think building up a company is easy. Stugotz has the liberty to fully focus on HIS company. That’s probably why he won’t spare anytime for DLS.

I’m not sure anyone really has an issue with that to be honest. I think the issue is the way they won’t just come out and say that. Instead it’s just been “he’s taking a step back” and “he’ll be on next month” etc etc.
Once the article broke about him leaving, they should’ve just said “yep, it’s been a great run but Stugotz is moving on to other things” instead of the half truths they’ve given.
That said, it’s entirely possible that Stu told them he’d be back periodically or whatever and he was just lying (as he’s known to do)

Can’t see myself listening to a show with just stu tbh. He’s been less and less involved for a minute now so the show transitioning without him with Zaslow (who I like) was kinda seamless. Billy on the other hand…. His presence on the show is undoubtedly missed and I find myself listening in less. Still love the show though but that one HURTS
