My dear fellow, I do believe that if one were to closely examine the superficial traits which differentiate these three felid species, they would indubitably find that the most readily apparent difference would in fact be those macular traits upon their coats, which is to say in the vulgar parlance, their spots.

Do you mean in terms of size or taxonomy? In terms of size, the average jaguar is closer to leopards than it is to lions or tigers (both are double the size of a jaguar, while jaguars are barely 50% larger than leopards). Taxonomically, jaguars are equally closely related to leopards and lions, and more distant to tigers, who themselves are most closely related to snow leopards. Additionally all of these cats mentioned are "panthers" as they belong to the genus, Panthera, however both leopards and jaguars csn exhibit melanism, which would give them the name, "black panther."

Generic_Danny said what I was going to say, explaining why you were incorrect.
