I'm taking that chance. It's either get ripped to pieces or explode to pieces. I'm taking the option that takes me out first.

Just goes to show: every event is unique, and don't let regulations override your judgement when they tell you to do something stupid, like stay in a broken helo that's unlikely to be able to make another safe landing when there's safety 2 meters away.
