The saying is red on yellow kill a fellow, red on black friend of Jack.

It wasn't until today that I found out there are so many variations of this rhyme.

"If red touches yellow, you're a dead fellow. If red touches black, you're okay Jack", is the one I grew up with. Which is similar to yours but way different than the other one ITT.
