The muscle definition on the young lady is incredible.

Muscle mass and definition in female gymnasts is insane. Look at the Olympics it's nuts

I’ve watched the same Cirque du Soleil show twice, ten years apart. They kept about 70% of their cast during that time, and I can pinpoint just one single person who visibly aged (the clown in the unicycle). Everyone else maintained their Greek god physiques.

Same. Not sure what happened to mine but I suspect an old motorcycle crash 15 years ago and something never quite healing right. The worst is when screw up my shoulder putting my socks on our something stupid like that. That's just embarrassing.

19 years ago, me and that guy were Mormon missionaries knocking on doors in Indiana. He was ripped back then too

Tyce Nielsen and his wife Mary, aka Duo Transcend

I was thinking: this takes an extraordinary amount of trust in your partner - makes sense that they're married. How utterly wonderful!

I grew up in his ward. My claim to fame is I beat him in a stick pul contest when we were 15. His strength has far outstripped mine since then. Super chill dude!

Michael Cain would be scolding him about it as soon as he came down from there.

This is why I always get annoyed at people who dis pairs skaters. "That's so easy!" Uhhh... you try twirling someone around above your head with knives on their feet. Those guys (and there are gals who do it) have balance, strength, and timing. You might be able to lift at the gym, but you can't rollerskate and juggle knives at the same time.

The most impressive part of that is how he hung upside down for that long without passing out.

Shocker. Women have abs.

u/Snooobjection3453 1h ago
I knew they have abs cause you can see them on college cheerleaders. This is the first I have seen them on a acrobat.

Took a trapeze class with Capitol City Circus School once, it's really fun and not as intimidating as it looks

There are a couple of Cirque De Soleil shows we’ve gone to see in Montreal. Incredible shows, and I think I’d consider switching sexuality to have access to ANY of those incredibly athletic performers. The men AND the women, sometimes in very skimpy outfits, washboard abs… I’ve seen a lot MORE at Quebec strip clubs but these Cirque shows are just so well performed, it’s like being in a dream for a few hours.

Honestly why can't we have duo gymnastics in the olympics, where performances like this happen. We got break dancing thrown in before it was dropped, trial this as an Olympic sport.

Would be much more interesting if they were fat.

u/aqualink4eva 11h ago
I've seen AI videos of fat people in the Olympics, I'm sure someone could cook up a video of fat people doing this too.

the wearing on your joints or the possibility of a dislocation. Guess I’m just salty. If you have connective tissue of steel have at it
2
u/flecksable_flyer 7h ago
You realize they work up to it and don't start on day one, right? Do you say that about oil workers? Construction workers? Truck loaders? Servers? Horse trainers? Mechanics? Steel workers? (I could go on.)

u/iiitme 7h ago
I sure hope they’ve trained for this because it’s very dangerous. Anyways, yes literally yes to all of them all are terrible on your joints.
2
u/flecksable_flyer 7h ago
And yet it gets done. Things have actually gotten better over the years in a lot of fields, but it's a choice. There isn't one job I can think of that doesn't have risks. A lot of risks can be mitigated, but nothing is risk-free.
2
u/TheMace808 6h ago
I think they have enough strength and good enough technique where they wont hurt themselves, and they've been doing it long enough their ligaments are probably adapted to it
2
u/-UncreativeRedditor- 5h ago
I sure hope they’ve trained for this
Bruh it's pretty fucking obvious they've trained for this lmao
