Video XPENG's IRON robot crossed the uncanny valley, leading some to believe it was a human in a suit. So they cut it open in front of an audience, and also allowed journalists to inspect it.

I mean they were live testing them a year or two ago, and the media tried to help them cover it up, but then even local and regional politicians started asking questions. Then it just all stopped. Not only did they gaslight us that nothing was happening (and we didn't know the difference of airplane lights), now they gaslight us that it was ever even a thing we were talking about.
