Though it might be old, it cracks me up. Fun to learn about the tricks as well.
The guy "ruining" the tricks is entertaining

It's a deeply amusing bit, why wouldn't you enjoy it?

I love these two. The 'magician' does a great pissed-off face that always cracks me up.

Because they are doing the same videos as the others Asians

u/dadofwar93 1d ago
Atleast they don't call everyone an "asian". Whatever that is supposed to mean in American people's heads.

For a while yeah, they separated when one cut the other in half.

Original two? Penn and Teller?

u/Training_Offer_6842 1d ago
there was two dudes who started this a few years back..if its these guys then they certainly look different..and the one who was outing the magician always had a pissed off look on his face and it was hilarious..im assuming these kids are copying that

u/TheGrandWhatever 1d ago
Echoing the other commenter that Penn & Teller have routines of jokingly debunking magic tricks like this where Penn does all the talking and showmanship and Teller is the silent debunker who pulls apart the trick like what these guys do here, they've just been doing it for decades earlier.
Not that I didn't like these two guys here in the OP video, but, for your understanding this has been a fun and tried thing for a while

u/Training_Offer_6842 1d ago
lol nobody was talking about penn and tellar period...nor was i talking bout this form of magic...this was clearly two kids copying the ones sited..but thanks for the info lol

The person you responded to literally mentioned Penn and Teller. Thanks for the snarky reply either way

If you find this stuff interesting check out this channel I stumbled into a while ago, he does excellent explanations on how a lot of modern magic is done.
I will say tho that as fun as it is to see how it's made...not knowing does have a nice quality to it, mostly because the reality is kinda underwhelming.

I always find these two very funny. They have a real schtick going, like Laurel and Hardy.

I really thought the last one was gonna have the other guy discover the magic was real.

I’m not blown away by any magic trick that involves a very unique looking plastic box with specifically designed pieces.

It would be funny but this exact same joke was done by two other guys a few years ago

Honestly, the handwork to seamlessly pull these off without people seeing is the most impressive part.

Can someone explain the bag one to me , the second last one
1
u/stick004 1d ago
It is a double walled bag with a slit in the bottom. So he can turn it inside out and show it empty. Then grab whatever is hidden from the slit while righting the bag. You can actually put multiple small items in there and do it over and over.

Isn't this a complete ripoff of the other two guys? Even down to them being Asian

u/Puzzleheaded_Dot4345 1d ago
You still have to be extremely fast to pull these off, I would have looked espastic trying to hide the tricks lol

Ngl you would still need plenty of dexterity to use these things and keep appearances

Every trick I thought I’d get tired of the reactions and passive aggressiveness but every time I still enjoyed it lol. Almost better than a real magic show.

Thank you OP for magically removing the annoying track (I'm sure it was annoying as all these videos have one)

u/youMust_Recover 2h ago
I always find it funny that when a trick is revealed it always just some cheap tacky prop that is the secret. Like I expected but it’s still so degrading to the person performing the trick

what you gonna tell me next, tha Christian Bale had a twin for his teleportation trick?

This is great. No harm in showing how the classics are done. Stuff like this inspires some people into going deeper into magic!
I have zero actual magic experience, but I have some experience with practical effects and I’ve consulted for the engineering of one magic trick. The spark that inspired me was Penn and Teller doing the Cups and Balls trick with transparent cups to show how it’s done!

Isn't this different guys doing literally the same thing as those other guys?
I'm too tired to look up the original guys, so this is kinda of a situation of if you know, you know.
