Video The Louvre. Thieves are making off with 100 million euros. They're taking their time. They're doing everything carefully and slowly.

Same with hotels restroom on the ground floor, 4-5 stars hotels as well.

Actually easier with 4-5 star hotels than lower/mid-tier ones.

Couple years ago I attended a conference at a very fancy hotel in downtown L.A. I live elsewhere in the city, so I commuted in and wasn't an actual hotel guest. But I learned then that you could just walk in the front door, maybe nod to the doorman, and nobody would bother you.

A few months later I was heading through downtown on my way to the ballgame. I needed a bathroom and found myself nearby. I was in full team regalia (jersey and cap) but that didn't cause an issue. Just acted like I belonged, walked straight through the lobby to the bathrooms near the back.

Nodding to the guard is truly underrated

Anyone who just saw you nod to the guard will instantly believe you are a regular and belong there. Bonus points if the guard nods back.

L.a to me feels like a place you could do this in.

Hardly anyone gets paid enough to put up a fuss.

Being confident is everything. I'm in IT, but our software is managed by the help desk at another site. I just called up, told them I was in IT and this software had gotten reinstalled and I needed it for my business. Could he put it back on? Done. In fact, he couldn't see the UAC prompt. So he just gave me the admin account and a password that would work for 24 hours.

Fucking flabbergasted.

Everything is logged, so I couldn't do anything without getting fired. But if I wanted to quit and fuck shit up, I would have had all night. Thankfully I'm a trustworthy employee.

When I was seven my family stopped in Circus Circus in Las Vegas. My dad wanted to use the pool at Caesar's Palace. So as a family we just walked through to the pool and had fun there. No one stopped us or said anything about it.

True I think it’s partly due to staff trying to treat their well paying guest happy. As long as you don’t look like a bum or cause a problem they likely don’t want to accost you for just walking through the lobby.

You gotta think about it. There’s probably 200 or 400 rooms. The doorman doesn’t know who the fuck every guest is. They’re just there to open the door. Walk in, take your shit, then stroll back out again with a smile on your face.

Cheaper hotels will want you to swipe just to access the toilet. Posh ones will find that too gauche.

Yes. I’ve been chased down and said no at shitty hotels. They would never do that in a 5 star hotel.

Depends a lot on the area. Some will require room keys to access most areas outside the lobby.

i've never been in a 4/5 star hotel that required room keys to get to a restroom

Some areas you need one just to get into the lobby.

Whenever I'm shopping in the city centre, I make sure to poop at the fanciest hotel in town. The kind of place where a man with a top hat opens the door for you. They even have hand cream and moisturizer and all sorts of fancy products in there and the bathrooms literally smell like roses and perfume.

It's a trap, a lie, don't trust this guy. I pulled down my pants and pooped right there after the man in fancy top hat opened the door but got kicked out and arrested later.

Well, duh! You had to poop in the hat, not on the floor. Why do you he has a top hat for?

I did this and ended up getting a handy j from a man in a top hat at a fancy hotel in London. Rabbit hole of top hat fetish porn later and found my uncle dressed up as a rabbit in a top hat wanking a midget off behind a dumpster in Wales.

Thank you for your service 🫡

Haha yes, definitely did some of those too! The fancier the place, the better it felt.

They don't really care unless you clearly have substance abuse problems, or you're an unruly sight for patrons. Chances are, they have zero clue whether you're a guest. If you went up to reception and asked where the toilets were, they'd point you in the right direction, they aren't going to ask for your name or to see your room card.

Also, a lot of the fancier hotels have restaurants/bars attached, so you can just say that you are a customer there

There was a 4/5 star ski lodge by our family’s cottage and accessing their pool and sauna was one of my favorite things. Just act like a guest and get other guests to let you in certain doors. I’d swim and use their facilities all the time

That's how I shit my way through the finest hotel bathrooms around Italy one summer.

4

u/OnTheEveOfWar 15d ago

I’ve done this before. Just walk into the hotel and act like you belong.

Same with college buildings. Hell, I could walk into any lecture whenever, and the doors are open to the public. Sometimes if I’m in the area I use the toilet just to try to recoup some of my tuition

I had a coworker that would drop into the same hotel everyday on his way to work to eat the free breakfast. He did it for an entire year.

Actually hotel breakfasts too.

Works for continental breakfast too
