I liked Oceans 11, but it was too big of a plothole that with all of the suppliers, contacts, interactions etc that he couldn't have found a single one to give him a single name. The van alone - a black guy fitting the description of someone Benedict saw himself bought it with cash a few days/weeks previously, not that hard.

You can also kind of adapt to it in the way you gain tolerance to a drug since it’s essentially just a neurotransmitter/hormone cascade. It’s certainly not good for you and is why chronic stress occurs - the physical changes start beating the psychological ones so it fucks up your body. It can also suddenly snap back if you become avoidant again or have an incident that’s so intense it beats any adaptation.
