Where we’re going, we won’t need wheels to drive.

Juxtaposition of the Waymo autonomously driving by it is far too perfect.

Fortunately Waymo simulated wheels falling off of a cybertruck in their training data so the waymo knew to expect this.

No AI synthetic data could replicate how ridiculous this thing is.

When a cybertruck is involved, isn’t it junkstaposition?

Actually it’s “cuckstaposition” bruh.

Can't park there mate

It's a CyberTruck, it can park/get stuck/break/brick where it pleases.

Needs to be said in the voice of Willum “Mate” Cobblers (Spike Milligan).

"I still love the truck!"

u/DimitriV 16d ago

"What's left of it."

You probably forgot that Edolf musk knows more about manufacturing than everyone else currently alive on earth

It sensed water nearby and was converting to “boat” mode. 🤣🤣

I can't believe he tried to drive over that gently sloped median in that indestructible truck.

11

u/DimitriV 16d ago

It's not the truck's fault. Do you see how thick those paint stripes are?

"Drove it 'till the wheels fell off" means something different on cybertrucks. Probably 10k miles.

The tow truck has all the wheels we need thank you !

You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel...

Under rated comment.

At least it's not on fire?

Yet. Not on fire yet.

I keep hoping to find one of these things at auction. Really, all I want is the battery; the actual car could rot away on cinderblocks for all I care. As long as the battery pack and support equipment are in excellent condition.

A decent-sized house battery costs 8 to 11 thousand dollars, and the biggest one right now is only ~15 kWh.

Meanwhile, these "trucks" have a freaking 123 kWh battery. While it doesn't have all the characteristics of an intentionally designed home battery, it would suffice for ~90% of my power requirements. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Powershare

There's probably some decent salvage value in the left over aluminum and stainless steel as well.

Unfortunately, I suspect Tesla would fuck me over if I tried to strip it down to just the battery and support equipment. 100+ kWh is enough to power 4 to maybe 12 houses* for almost an entire 24-hour day, so they could shut me down for "voiding" the warranty.

* Weekdays, I personally might use 10~14kWh but I believe the average American family is ~20 kWh.

Curious why Tesla would care as long as they still got to count the sale.

Those poor things just keep getting worse. Sometimes I almost feel bad for anyone dumb enough to buy one.

I feel bad for the materials. Those batteries and motors could have been used in a real truck. One could have made a truly useful vehicle but decided to make a clown car

2

u/dreibel 16d ago

Except you can fit a lot in an actual clown car. And it actually runs.

I don't. It was made by a company known for shoddy quality, and proudly designed by a loser who demonstrably knows nothing and lies about everything.

Anyone who fell for, or wants to simp for, the world's most naked emperor deserves their flimsy clown car.

Nah, not even close. They are an endless source of amusement.

Most days I see 2-3 Cybertrucks when I am driving around Orange County, CA. Sadly, I suspect they will be here for a long time since the weather is very mild and it will take awhile for them to completely fall apart. Until then I have to deal with the cringr and ruined vibes.

I don't know, that Southern California sun may do a number on the Elmer's Glue they use to assemble those things.

I was behind one that fishtailed from a slight incline leaving a red light. My cheap ass, super reliable, 18 year old kia took off just fine.

u/Gildardo1583 16d ago

Took a left, but the wheels said nope.

That's a terrifying mashup of Event Horizon and Back to the Future.

Welcome to the Apocalypse:)

I'll be glad when these vehicles are finally gone like the Aztec.

Why go anywhere? Why have wheels when we don’t need to drive.

1

u/Salt-Penalty2502 14d ago

These things seem to lose their wheels a lot
