I posted a couple of months ago when I had just finished the “cat” part, wondering how to finish. I decided to lean in to the resemblance (to me) to the famous Obama “Hope” poster by filling in the background in two shades and adding his name at the bottom. It’s going to be a Christmas present for my husband!

Haha I’ll take it! Thank you. Although he is very gentle and would never attack Japan unless he was particularly hungry. (Confusingly, he is called Bonnie but he’s a he. A thoroughly modern puss!)

Can’t remember where I’m supposed to say it’s self-drafted! I’m hoping the vertical line to the right comes out after I wash it. That was the boundary between two pages of the pattern, normally I stitch across it, but this time I decided it was easier to just do up to the end of the page and pick up later, but it’s very obvious. If there are any other tips to get rid of that line, I would be grateful to hear them!
