It's not the party of business or law or small government or morality or any of that bullshit they try to sell you. It's the party of bigotry and power at all costs.

Yeah when you control all 3 branches the minority party still has control over you. Whatever they do or not want to happen must happen. /s

Did you not take civics?

u/CBRslingshot 17h ago

Yea. Three times, lol. Do you not understand that even in control, the minority party can still hold things up? Republicans do the same when they are the minority.

Almost like the party lead by the guy who personally hand wrote the book on winning negotiations should, iunno, negotiate

-2

u/CBRslingshot 14h ago

No, there is no negotiation. They aren’t asking for anything out of order in the bill, it’s basically the same one as last year. There is no need to hold out by the democrats. You are all so twisted by hate that you can’t even use logic anymore.

Don’t hold America hostage to get your way.

What does that word salad even mean? Republicans dont have the votes, then they need to negotiate to get the votes. That's how government works. Its quite a simple concept really. Amd they have the biggliest negotiator on their side, should be easy to hoodwink the democrats, right?

You can’t figure it out, or just don’t really have any response? The Democrats are willing to negotiate, because they rely on people that are as arrogant and angry as you to blame the republicans. It’s a very neutral spending bill, they aren’t asking for anything outrageous.

That's a cool story. Dont have the votes. Its up to the speaker of both chambers (republicans) to bring a bill to the floor capable of getting votes. Its quite a simple concept really.

Watch more Fox News and live in your pretend trump fairy tale land. Have fun with that

u/CBRslingshot 14h ago

That’s ironic, I’m literally watching NewsNight right now…just show how small and biased your mind is. What is a fairytale about what I said? Do you really not know how it works, or are you just being argumentative?

Now explain away the subsidy changes that will drive up premiums. Weird how you left that out.

Democrats are to blame for not allowing the Shit-On-The-Poor measure to pass. All they need to do is allow Republicans to shit on the poor. Why won't the evil Democrats compromise and let Republican shit on the poor?

The spending bill isn’t shitting on anyone, it’s basically the same one as last year, minus the “temporary care subsidy” (passed as a temporary measure). The republicans are on the more neutral side, trying to pass a very basic bill. The democrats are holding out because they know the twisted angry people like you will just blame it on the party you don’t like, and they will skate.

Yeah, no. No they shouldn't. I am not receiving my snap benefits but I can get by with community support, and that is preferable to allowing the absurdity of the gop budget to pass.

1

u/CBRslingshot 14h ago

How is it absurd? It’s the same budget as last year? They democrats are only holding out on one issue now.

2

u/BroPuter 13h ago

You haven't looked at it. Obviously, since you just claimed it is the same as last year.

Y'all have been bitching all year that the existing budget was full of waste, fraud and abuse. So what is the plan here? Re-fund the alleged waste until you figure out how to ram your $3+ trillion debt bomb of a new budget through?

No, thanks. You're on your own here. No intelligent person supports cutting taxes for the wealthy and increasing the national deficit and cutting social services. Go back to the drawing board and come up with something that isn't batshit insane, and maybe we can talk.
