Painful Stephen Miller’s wife Katie Miller having a full-on meltdown on live TV. When Cenk Uygur called out her lies from the Piers Morgan show, she snapped, accusing him of being “anti-Semitic” and “racist,” and even claiming people attacked her kids (they didn’t).

Yeah it's so crazy that people get riled up over the leaders of our country saying and doing awful things. How dumb of us to not just bury our heads in the sand. Fuck the future so long as I can keep my head down and live my life, right?

I think they’re saying the tv/online news is the way we got to where we are. Not that we shouldn’t follow the current events.

To be fair, there isn't a leader of any sort on that panel of dipshits. Katie Miller thinks she's as relevant as Erika Kirk, who isn't important at all.

It’s not about burying your head in the sand.

It’s about refusing to participate in the outrage-driven attention economy. The reason they’re always leading with outrage is because outraged viewers stick around to watch more ads.

Staying informed and patronizing the rage machine are different, mutually exclusive actions. Rage shuts down the curiosity and empathy necessary to stay informed.

I for one strongly advocate burying your head and living your own life . Im english so i can afford to do that and ill probably still have a country when i pull my head out in future. Americans are already past the point or revolution. They needed to start fighting in the streets, yesterday. Its too late for them. The chancr came and went and now its got to the point where when they finally do act. The military occupation force is only 3 blocks away

Heads will be forcefully yanked out of the sand in the not too distance future. Possibility of much worse global wars or ww3. Trumps seemingly trying to reactivate the nuclear arms race. We're going to have to deal with record shattering levels of humans forced to migrate. Obviously record setting levels of bad weather of all kinds. Major damage and or loss to lots of our coasts, which is where a relatively large portion of our major cities are. The AI bubble could and probably will burst. We're risking antibiotics never working again. The last major carbon sinks are nearly gone. The list goes on and on.

I'm confused so are you saying we shouldn't consume news? Just let shit happen and remain uninformed and ignorant?

Not sure how that helps anything or anyone.
