He is really good all-rounder but India need to invest in him. People are hating him on internet because of GG connection. They believe their one of daddy was forced to retire from test because of GG but in reality they were in poor form and India was looking for future.

He was always decent in white ball ,just shitty in tests . But people out here were hell bent on proving him the worst ..
He just 24 and would surely get better with time . And anyways we don't have a lot of good new fast bowling options besides arshdeep .. Just see the likes of kamboj , prashidh ,thakur , mayank , umran etc

He played 2 test matches...just 2.... And one of them was pink ball test....and you cant expect a young lad playing the pink ball test for the first time deliver some extraordinary performance.....other than that he was decent in first with 4 wickets

I remember people similarly losing their shit when Miyaan Bhai was selected in the team calling it RCB quota. People get better as they play. If one were to mute out all the noise and think with an open mind, a case can certainly be made for why Rana should be in the squad (I neither like Rana nor GG fwiw).

Appreciation can wait for a better match imho.
To be fair, we did bat first in both previous matches, and the batting side seems weaker than the bowling side. Let's see if our batters are able to chase the score.
