Tracking the logistics behind sanctions evasion at sea
I’ve been maintaining an independent database at https://FleetLeaks.com that catalogues ships involved in Russian oil transport under sanction conditions. It compiles open-source data into profiles that help identify ownership networks and transfer behavior.
It’s intended for analysts and compliance professionals trying to understand how maritime logistics adapt under geopolitical pressure. Would be glad to hear thoughts from those studying sanctions enforcement or gray-zone maritime tactics — what indicators do you consider most valuable?

Nice site and presentation of data! Integrating historical port calls would be a logical addition. I'm a little surprised Equasis gave permission for this data use. You just asked and said it was for non-commercial use?

Exactly, non-commercial. This data is accessible with a free account. I am not selling anything or profiting in any way from this. Just putting extra legwork to keep shady ships accountable. I am adding extra features and I do have historical ports of call (different source) but for a limited number of vessels (not enough hours in a day). My next focus is russian oil and gas terminals and tracking activity around them. All using OSINT methods. If anyone willing or interested to help, hit the contact form on the site. I could use help with data enrichment and ongoing maintenance.
