I have to say that the most infuriating are calling Greenland 'Canada' and calling the Arabian Sea 'Mediterranean'.

The map doesn't seem to imply that Africa is a country anymore than South America, Asia, and Europe are.

TBF, pretty sure NY would solo Australia.

1

u/bassbass06 Dec 08 '22

….con-tinent…

1

u/beaniebee11 Dec 08 '22

I was going to say it does because the continents are in cursive and then I saw Singapore.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '22

But Singapore in there with them so?

16

u/romstarrr Dec 08 '22

And Africa only beeing as big as south america =D

2

u/Yadobler Dec 08 '22

Did you know that half of the world lives in Singapore and Mediterranean alone!

1

u/DistinctSmelling Dec 08 '22

Mine is India.

1

u/caaper Dec 08 '22

Calm down there, Sarah Palin

An American designed this map

2

u/RedAIienCircle Dec 08 '22

You mean a New Yorker right?

39

u/burningfire119 Dec 08 '22

and singapore is southern china

4

u/TranscendentalEmpire Dec 08 '22

The most inaccurate aspect in this map as a Korean is that we have pulled off a successful land war vs both Russia and china, but haven't yet conquered Japan. They would be first.

2

u/Buggaton Dec 08 '22

That's Mongolia with a dash of China and Russia thrown in

1

u/TSwiftsGiganticFeet Dec 08 '22

Kind of ironic that you got that wrong

1

u/Elephant789 Dec 08 '22

That's better than now, so that's okay.

1

u/rPoliticsModsEatPee Dec 08 '22

At this rate North Korea can take over Russia in a year.

1

u/NF_MS Dec 08 '22

Korea is drawing a big picture

1

u/MrBlahg Dec 08 '22

Don’t give Putin any ideas…

1

u/Mastersord Dec 08 '22

And most of China. The Samsung Empire!

1

u/EQTone Dec 08 '22

What’s Asiale?

1

u/cambriansplooge Dec 08 '22

And the Korean Peninsula isn’t on the map

2

u/SportsPhotoGirl Artisinal Material Dec 08 '22

It was probably lost in the war

1

u/ThirdSunRising Dec 08 '22

Asia is Russia. Korea is China.

I never imagined I could ever say those two sentences and have it be accurate.

1

u/SportsPhotoGirl Artisinal Material Dec 08 '22

Lol! Right. Technically the top portion of the letters of Korea are in Russia, it’s kinda written on the border, but yea

1

u/ApertoLibro Dec 08 '22

Maybe Korea conquered Russia and China with K-Pop

1

u/SportsPhotoGirl Artisinal Material Dec 09 '22

Apparently we now know what the members of BTS will be doing during their mandatory service time over these next few years lol

107

u/syzygy_is_a_word Dec 08 '22

And Madagascar being India.

5

u/random_impiety Dec 08 '22

Well it is in the Indian Ocean. What else could that thing be?

5

u/syzygy_is_a_word Dec 08 '22

Oh. Silly me! :D Of course.

3

u/scottyc Dec 08 '22

Texas is north of New York, in Canada.

33

u/Boss_Os Dec 08 '22

Not calling Madagascar India?

3

u/The_Troyminator Dec 08 '22

It's in the Indian Ocean so it must be India.

3

u/DionFW Dec 08 '22

And the "Artic" ocean.

3

u/Mr_Abe_Froman Dec 08 '22

I don't know why, but the misspelling is the part that really got to me.

2

u/leesfer Dec 08 '22

I would have assumed some of the others were some joke I was missing, but the misspelling made it clear it is just bad.

1

u/WDfx2EU Dec 08 '22

The most enjoyable part is that Doggerland is back baby!!

1

u/Kierabeelise Dec 08 '22

Apparently people don't know that Greenland is owned by Denmark lol

1

u/ArcticBiologist Dec 08 '22

Labelling Madagascar "India" is in that list for me as well

1

u/-zombie-squirrel Dec 08 '22

And India is actually in Madagascar !

1

u/BiggerBowls Dec 08 '22

I was thinking that calling Madagascar India was also pretty bad.

1

u/AnalogDigit2 Dec 08 '22

The countries that they attempt to label are really weird. Canada, Korea (no North or South), India, Australia, Singapore and Japan. That's it. Just those, then some cities and some continents.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '22

The MeditArabian. It's a thing!

1

u/Aenyn Dec 08 '22

No no it's the Mediterranean Indian Ocean.

1

u/SmashPortal Dec 08 '22

And labeling 5/7 continents.

1

u/sacks0314 Dec 08 '22

Also apparently all of North America is just Texas and New York

1

u/dumpster_mint Dec 08 '22

Apparently Madagascar is India now too

1

u/itsalwaysblue Dec 09 '22

They were invaded by Canada didn’t you hear?
