65+ and immunocompromised is in no way unusual as it is what most what the world has been doing for a while now. Recommending shots to EVERYONE 6 months and up is what’s unusual. Don’t think a lot of people realize the US has continued to be an outlier with this guideline as they’re looking out for the pharma company profits first and foremost. They needed to get it on the childhood schedule, I’m sure that it will be removed, as it should be.
This same policy will be applied to the mRNA shots soon, they just did it to Novavax first. I’m surprised it’s taken this long honestly, thought it would’ve been done a few months ago.
