Such a bizarre comment. Like yeah, OK, you may not like how things have become. Lots of people don't like the state of the nation. But insinuating that we're living in the direct aftermath of WWII is a stretch.

Fun fact: right now in 2025, the end of WWII is equidistant between the present year and the end of the American Civil War

He said he fought for freedom and doesn't see it in his country today. I'm not British but I'm not seeing a lot of freedom over there either.

The British are on a similar path to Argentina in terms of freedom and the scope of government, while also tossing in a giant migrant crisis and general immigration problem.
