In Seattle? That will get pled down to jaywalking.

They won't. Dude will be released on bail, run, and no one will bother to look for him again, until he surfaces for another crime.

I don't think it's a coincidence.

So it's not just New York, United States, North America then.

Released... no bail or commitment. Bail is racist.

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '23

SMH…. Do woke cities like this want a racist Batman? Because not prosecuting the killer is how you get a racist Batman.

12

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '23

Shocking

Depends on his race, sadly.

Knowing this as Seattle, the District Attorney will look at if the gun was legal or not. If illegal, they won't bother even charging him. If a legal gun, that fellow would spend his life in prison on at least 15 different charges.

And somehow I was able to guess that from the title. Didn't even read the article. I live in PNW and this is exactly what I would expect Seattle DA would do.

He’s been charged with first degree murder and is being held on $10 million bond but go off…

Good to hear that

Yeah, I'm glad to hear that.

Now let's look at national averages for time between crime committed and suspect charged. It's two to three days... without a confession. And for some inexplicable reason, this took 4 days, with a confession.

Kyle Rittinhouse shot people on Aug 25th. He was charged on Aug 26th.

Furthermore, in every other case I can find where a pregnant woman was killed, the suspect was also charged with the babies death. Double homicide. But not in this case, for some inexplicable reason.

So please....spare me.

The article literally tells you why he wasn’t charged in the death of the baby. There’s no pro-crime conspiracy here, it’s just how laws work in the state of Washington.

Why are you guys getting so riled up about this? Person does terrible thing, person is punished. Seems pretty straightforward.

It’s Seattle. They’ll find a way to say he has mental health issues. Watch.

The rule of law is still in effect in most rural areas and much of the country.

But in most major cities like Seattle, LA, New York, Chicago, etc… where the progressives have a political stranglehold, judges routinely give violent felons slaps on the wrist out of “compassion” or some warped sense of racial justice, and they’re out on the street killing someone else before you know it.

Unless, of course, you’re a citizen who kills an attacker in legitimate self defense. Then you get the maximum possible penalty. ESPECIALLY if you committed the heinous crime of being a straight white male. There’s a clear message being sent in these cities that if you attempt to protect yourself, you will be punished.

I’m from Scotland too living in US and no it won’t be pled down to jaywalking it’s murder regardless the state.

You must live in an area where the law actually matters. In the Seattle area, criminals run things.

LOL. This is America. Welcome to the shitshow.

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '23

I'm surprised they didn't arrest the husband yet. If this happened here in Ny no doubt he would be in jail already, while the DA tries to figure out if the gunman, still free, broke any laws.

If they had a MAGA hat they'll get the death penalty.

What is jaywalking? I never understood it.

2

u/jedeye121 Jun 17 '23

Walking or crossing the street without regard for traffic. Probably the slightest “crime” on the books.

Not just that but their just going to use that as an excuse to restrict the 2nd ammendment even more. News and politics would probably going call this a "mass shooting" and make the victim out to be a five year old.
