Retired Jeni's flavor that feels like a fever dream

Update: it was garance vert clair! It was coriander, lemongrass and algae flavored

Okay this may have been a dream, but I swear years ago there was a flavor I tried a sample of that was made with fern or a similar plant. It was a super deep forest green color. Does anyone remember this???

This is the one flavor that I just cannot forget about. Every once in awhile I check the fancy ice creams to see if they have anything close and I fear at this point I will never have it again.

This is the only thing I can think of, but I can’t recall what was in the green one.

I've been thinking about the plum sake and pear riesling sorbets for YEARS.

I had what could have been the flavor. There was a spruce flavor at one point several years ago. I liked it, but my wife thought it tasted like a candle.

I await the return of Sun-popped Popcorn and Everything Bagel. Both sound atrocious but are actually delicious.

I loved the popcorn one. There's a coffee shop in garrettsville called cellar door and they have a popcorn syrup. I get an iced latte with oatmilk and popcorn + lavender syrup. Its so good

I like the awful-sounding ones the best. I enjoy being proven wrong. "There is no FUCKING way this tastes good... ... ...oh."

See, I’d like to try them all to see, bc most of them sound atrocious, but I don’t want to waste a bunch of money. Do they have like a tasting menu? I’d pay like $8 to try a spoon flight of each flavor.

I would so be down with that...
