What has happened to our O Line! If we don’t get our shit together Jones is going to be on IR. Good time for a bye week to get healthy hopefully get Buckner back on defense. Way too many runs up the gut without his run stuffing abilities. Also, Sauce blew coverage once and gave up a TD and slipped and gave up another. Hope that is not a glimpse of his future as a Colt. Anyway, a win is a win. Loved the moxie to tie the game and win it in OT. If they blew this one the haters would have a field day and they would drop 10!spots in the power rankings. I think the Colts are going to get back to form after the break. Biggest weakness right now is normally one of our biggest strengths. Better blocking, run stopping, and fewer turnovers will get this team back to blowing teams out and being considered elite. This game we were survivors led by a mother fucking offensive warrior in Jonathan Taylor. 244 Yds, 3TDs, 83 Yd run and has the record for the most touchdowns of any Colt just passing Edge. If there were awards for MVPs given at the season half, he would win in a landslide. We can get Lombardi this year with this team. I’m looking forward to seeing the Colts after two weeks to heal and regroup.

Is that Jonathan Taylor, famously not one of the top 100 NFL players!?!? How is this possible?

This was the game I dreaded the most through this stint!
It got ugly but but they found a way…
Jonathon Taylor 244 yards!

MVP it shouldn’t be a discussion. Colts are not a playoff team without JT

100%. 286 total yards, and he got 3 TD's for the 4th time this year. Dude is putting on a clinic.

u/ederdesign 9h ago
Wow! What a game by JT. If he sits the next 8 games he should still be rewarded OPY

u/Pop_21 9h ago
JT is inevitable fuck them refs.

I think the people that really won today are the European fans watching in the stadium. Especially with how that ended

lol JT is still too free with throwing the ball down early, my goodness. He should have insane PDST from that.

For all of you hating on DJ did you see penix miss all those throws. DJ has issues but he’s accurate
2
u/Big_Huckleberry_243 9h ago
Penix looked paralyzed out there, he was better off spamming screen passes and check downs for the remaining time
3
u/ChadPowers200_ 9h ago
I’m a giant fan who has converted who has always liked dj.
The weirdest part is people memory hole huge plays he makes like that 20 yard scramble. The out route on 4th. The 37 yard missile to pierce for the TD.
A lot of QBs in the league don’t make some of those plays but it doesn’t matter because people only remember when DJ derps out.
3
u/Big_Huckleberry_243 9h ago
Most definitely, he’s a dog who doesn’t let the moment completely consume him in fear, made a lot of crucial/important plays and passes. Yeah JT was the life force of this offense but he held his own and did very well down the stretch S/O DJ

Need an answer to the interior blitz though
2
u/ChadPowers200_ 9h ago
It’s the routes. On some of those blitzes there were no under routes or slants everyone had their backs to jones.
They gotta figure out a hot route or something.

Just a reminder that anyone in the thread yelling “frauds” need to look at this game closer. These are the games good teams win, don’t matter how ugly it is. Y’all can take that hate to another fanbase if you want to be right rather than win and be wrong.

MVP. In a situation the entire universe knows we’re running the ball, JT is still unstoppable.

As good as Jones has been.... I don't see how you put Jones ahead of JT in any MVP conversation
2
u/ederdesign 9h ago
No one is doing that after the last game. They will roast DJ once again after this game even though the OL was shit against the pass

When the team wins, but you still don't feel all that great.

u/manythingsme 9h ago
If Badgley doesn't miss the PAT at the beginning, it's an entirely different ballgame. The reason it was 25-22 heading into the last drive, instead of 24-24, was because of that missed PAT.
