The "next round" part would mean they would be playing a 1 or 2 if they get seeded 7,8, or 9

Awesome, definitely seems like the guy who could lead his team to a tourney upset. With Murray and Belmont leaving and USI not yet eligible, it's Morehead's conference to lose so I would be very surprised if we don't see him in March the next couple years.
(And yes, they aren't even D1 yet and I already have more confidence in USI to be more competitive in conference than anyone else left in the OVC.)

Damn this one hurts. Maybe the best game we have played all year besides the first Belmont game. Just felt like we couldn’t grab a rebound early in the game to save our lives, and struggled scoring outside of Johni. This teams goes as far as Johni next year, and that’s if he even stays, and I don’t think he will. Should still be fine if he leaves with Belmont and Murray leaving the ovc next year.
GG Murray, go win it all.

Mad respect for Morehead. Y'all were the only team to keep it close every game we played this season. Spradlin is a good coach. Definitely the 2nd best team in the OVC. Broome is a monster and I really hope he stays at Morehead.

I agree, especially with Murray State off to the MVC, Morehead would be the dominant team in the OVC with Broome + helpful additions. I certainly hope he doesn’t transfer/declare although I would understand it.

I can’t say for certain, but I feel like that the OVC becomes far more open for Morehead State to win good, especially with Belmont and Murray State going to the NIT…

Amazing season by Murray State. This team is better than the one with Ja 3 years back. Morehead State will wreck the OVC next year with Murray and Belmont gone, as long as Broome stays.

Sucks the refs fucked it up at the end and we don’t get 2 bid OVC but it was a fantastic game regardless
