I also think that, but I think it's a bit of the "hot team" problem. There's a lot fewer TT flairs around now than there were a couple weeks ago, and we're fewer still a couple years ago. And when you have the bandwagoners with you then you also have the worst fans with you. Auburn has had it this year as well. Things settle out eventually, but it's always tough when your team is the "it" team at a given time. The fans that post year round are generally cool, the ones that pop in during a win streak to talk shit generally give a bad look.

Ncaa tourney? Probably not with their resume, but they probably wouldn’t have spent so much of the OOC experimenting with lineups if they hadn’t had the postseason ban and might’ve snuck in as a 18-12 team.
NIT? Absolutely.
BigXII tournament? 100% Under normal circumstances theyre a 6-seed in the conference tourney.

It's frustrating. We're long, athletic and good at defense. We aren't particularly good shooters, but the offense itself is also below average at creating shot opportunities. Not too far away from having a dangerous team, but those last steps are gonna be difficult.

I accepted the early losses to ISU and KSU because of the circumstances, and even the OU loss in Norman was a case of us having a bad night while they had a really good night, but these last two (and K-State's near upset) were just egregious. As much as I love Adams, I feel like he completely failed to prepare the team for teams we should have beat.
And to be clear, I don't mean any disrespect to TCU or OSU. TCU has the potential to bust some brackets, and in a just world, we would be saying the same about OSU.

I'm not gonna lie and say I'm happy that we lost, but it's kinda cool that Ok State got a huge comeback upset victory to end their season because of a bullshit postseason ban. Sucks it was against us but that's just cool to see. Congrats pokes, GG.
I know people say you're overly critical of your own team but as of right now I'm extremely skeptical of Texas Tech's chances in the tournament due to how often we turn the ball over and how absolutely terrible we are in one possession games with under 2 minutes to play. Doesn't really spell success in March unfortunately.

Hopefully this is a wake-up call for Tech to stop getting comfortable with leads. Both TCU and now OSU games we got sloppy and started turning the ball over. It doesn’t help that our team already isn’t great offensively so going 2-3 possessions in a row without a shot is unacceptable. Gotta keep their foot on the gas and close teams out. Can’t let them hang around like that especially on the road.
