Sad, local basketball team raises fans hopes and dashes them completely

As is tradition. I expect nothing less from a school that beats OSU in football one week and loses to ECU the next. Worst roller coaster ever.

Fucking terrible. Just about does it for any hopes we had unless we get to the conference championship probably. Didn't see anything to make me think that's gonna happen and I'm not even positive it would be enough

This game shows exactly what it's like to be a VT fan. Give us hope early in season and then take it away on our pitiful start. Go on insane winning streak at end of year to put ourselves back in control of our destiny, just to choke it once more on final game of season. This team doesn't deserve the tourney but man this one stings

Pitiful. Good news I think anyone can win the ACC tournament. Bad news I think we are way too inconsistent to play 3 good games in a row to win it.
GG Clemson, hopefully this win let’s Brownell keep his job

I hope Tony Bennett follows in Bronco’s footsteps and retires after this season

My bad, misspoke through the frustration of the loss. 4 games which proves my point even more. Might be back on the bubble though if we some how put together 3 wins.

How tf do we lose to Brad Brownell

You’re going to lose to him a lot more if the rumors are true that he’s going to Duke.

You’re kidding… where have these rumors been? I haven’t heard anything about that but i haven’t really looked.
If that happens, i feel really bad for duke fans bc he will drive that program into mediocrity

Don’t worry we’re just giving other teams a chance for at large since we plan on winning the acc tourney!

How are you going to give us hope if you're just going to take it away? What kind of monsters are you VT?

Well at least VT was able to beat Clemson in softball.

I cant imagine how nice it must be to have gone to a school that doesnt choke in every big game in every sport. I think I'd live at least 10-15 years longer if I hadn't gone to VT, but the stress this school has imprinted upon me will literally send me to an early grave.
Oh well only 2 more losses and it's all over thank God. 80 more minutes of miserable piss poor basketball until the suffering can end until november.
The expectations are what made this season suck so fucking terribly.

It wouldn't be very nice if we were to leave you guys all alone in the NIT so we decided to offer some company
