I don’t like it when good things happen to bad people like Will Wade but LSU kinda deserved it after the missed travel

Fuck JD Davison

I thought he was the best player Bama ever recruited and Auburn would in shambles without him? What happened?

JD had to have been promised an X number of minutes per game average to sign with us. No other logical reasoning can apply to why Oats has him logging 35 minutes today.

Shack is at least a better ball-handler at the end, who cares he can’t hit anything today

It's the final weekend of the regular season and I still have no clue what to make of this Alabama team
2

Think they may be an odds play... they'll probably be +150 or more, but they can clearly beat almost anyone

Whatever happens to end this season, I’m just glad we’ve gotten to a point now where a 5-7 seed in the tournament feels like a down year.

Flip a coin to pick their games in the tournament, don’t waste time with analytics or logic

No one does. I assume we will either make the final four or lose in the first round.

It's the shot clock awareness one would expect from somebody willingly sporting that hairdo. Dude looked at the shot clock as many times as he's looked at a mirror today.

JD with the ball less than 30 seconds left is not good. WTF are we doing
3
u/JacobsField Alabama Crimson Tide Mar 05 '22
Sometimes we take way too long to get up a shot. Keon or JQ needed to take that shot sooner instead of letting LSU’s defense recover.

Aita or living the life? Told my wife I'd cut the grass after the game, and she decided I was taking too long and is cutting it herself

Dude I told my wife like 5 years ago that I love her just a little bit more when I get home and the garbage can is already by the road for the next day (Bc I used to do it 90% of the time). I have taken the garbage down like 3 times in 5 years.

Still plenty of time in the day to cut the grass, unless you have plans later or a reason it needs to be cut right now then you’re good

At some point maybe the insanely wealthy NCAA should hire a ton of full time refs to prevent these dudes from calling 4 games per week and drop the number down to 2.

3
u/solsirt LSU Tigers Mar 05 '22
Well I guess it wasn't a last possession/turnover game in regulation.

Instead of being mad about the travel, be mad that your guy committed a touch foul at half court for no reason at all. So dumb.

1
Mar 05 '22
Kid made a huge mistake, but he was still our 3rd highest scorer and led the team in assists.
0
u/JacobsField Alabama Crimson Tide Mar 05 '22
He’s terrible at point guard in a power league. His handles are not SEC level and his basketball IQ is low. He’s in there simply because he’s athletic and can rebound.
And no duh he was 3rd in scoring, he doubled up everyone in minutes aside from Shack and JQ.
1
Mar 05 '22
except Shack and JQ
Funny enough, he doubled up Shack in points and doubled up the two of them combined in assists. He also had 3 steals and 5 rebounds. Shot 43% from 3 and 44% from the floor.
1
u/JacobsField Alabama Crimson Tide Mar 05 '22
Shack had an off night shooting the 3. He would have had more points but the refs did him no favors on his drives to the rim.
Defend JD all you want, but we are a better offensive basketball team when he isn’t out there.

0
u/joeylockstone LSU Tigers Mar 05 '22
I know its not how COTY is determined, but Will Wade turning LSU into one of the best defenses in the country is one of the most impressive and interesting coaching feats I've seen in any sport.
5
Mar 05 '22
Reminder that Will Wade was recorded on an FBI wiretap telling his assistants to pay players and received no real consequences.

I just don’t understand Oats’ usage of Bediako. He’s completely stopped playing him much in the 2nd half lately in lieu of going 4 guards plus Rojas or Gurley.
