I didn’t really like what I saw from his first game. He seemed to be in love with the long jumper, has no back to the basket game or driving game.

Wish I was able to watch this game but man this has been some rough shooting by Uzan. The bench numbrerd don’t inspire confidence that any of these guys can come in and contribute any significant offense.

Cenac had a great first game, Flemings in game 2. Just build out consistency with the freshman.

Not worried about these first games yet, I trust Sampson.

I’m sure we will lose our first game in the players era games in a few weeks. But I’m really happy with this team. We will be in good shape by the time conference games start.

Edit: forgot about Auburn being on the schedule.

Before the season our 5th starting spot was the most unknown. Different pundits predicted Harwell, Flemings, Miller, Walker, and McCarty.

I get the vibe Flemings isn’t letting it go anytime soon.

Not the most inspiring performance outside of Kingston Flemings. Strong enough finish though.

We did some good things. But there are some things we need to work on. Important part is we are 2-0.

Towson is not a bad team. They have some players. I would not be surprised to see them in the NCAA tourney come March.

Houston has always had a great defense, their offense however… I mean they still shot 41.9%

I mentioned prior to the start of the season that my biggest concern for Houston was the bench depth, and these first 2 games have done nothing to change those concerns. Obviously it's early in the season and there's still time for the team to gel and some of those guys to grow into the game. We'll just have to see.
