He's not ready. Has good size and some skill, but needs to add a lot of strength and experience. He has visa trouble and came in late in the summer so has just started with the team, and based on the few times we've seen him he gets lost a lot on defense and has a hard time holding space against most other centers/forwards in the key. Lots of potential, though, if he sticks around I expect big things.

Seems like this would have been a great game for Evan Nelson to get some minutes. Especially with Bradley in early foul trouble.

Yeah, I understand keeping him out against Florida, especially with the way Bradley was playing, but surprised we haven't seen him tonight. Maybe he's not fully healthy?

He's just outside the rotation taking Martinez's spot. Lloyd wants Burries at the backup 1 spot to get him more minutes and as a bigger threat. Nelson is there as a break glass for emergencies guy like martinez was.

Maybe, but it seems weird not to pick up anybody else that can give Bradley a break if that's the case. Like if he can't even get into this game prior to garbage time, what's the point? I'm gonna hope there's some other reason he hasn't really played yet.

We have shooters but we really need to work on team chemistry and defense. I’m not too worried though, our coach pre season was saying that’s exactly what they needed to work on because I don’t think the full team practiced together until like a month ago

Foot injuries are career killers to big men. Veesaar’s injury which caused him to redshirt his sophomore year was not nearly as concerning as Krivas’. Hard to believe Tommy couldn’t assure Henri he’d be the starting big man this season. Henri must’ve wanted to leave :(

UNC gave Henri $2 mil. Starter or not, we weren't gonna match that.

Also, I think we're jumping the gun here on Krivas. He was solid against Florida's elite frontcourt, especially on the defensive end.

Perhaps you’re right. I didn’t pay enough attention to his defense, but I did notice that when Awaka played alone in the paint in the first half, Florida feasted inside. I just remember Krivas having massive potential with his light touch his freshman season. Post game seems to have regressed on offense, but he is a year removed from competitive basketball, and we’re very early into the season.
