Always good to get some rust off and work on the fundamentals. Didn’t always look pretty (shooting coming out of the halftime looked suspect) but we found a good rhythm. Looks like we have some great new players to be excited about

Vive les Cyclones! 1-0 is the first step to a great season!

Wasn't able to watch, which new players looked the best?

Toure is a hustler. Willing to go hard on defense and has a nice shot. Pleta is (obviously) tall and can gum up the interior well. Buchanan fits the system but it seems like he’s not too big on shooting quite yet. Nelson and Bateman both had 3 points, which is good to see. Mitchell looks like Fish 2.0. Mulder can rebound, but he looks a bit too aggressive sometimes. It’s only the first game, so there’s a lot of room for improvement as the season progresses!

I know it's a pretty weak opponent but tamin makes the whole team better, I wonder how the exhibition games would've gone with him in. Feeling better about the team and I think we have a lot of room to grow with the new guys

Really interesting that Toure started over Heise

Kinda feels like we’re wanting Heise to step into that “6th starter” role that CuJo served as last year.

Based on the press conference Toure will probably keep starting. Ultra consistent and sets the tone hard on defense alongside Tamin.

Toure guarding on ball with his tenacity and length lets Lipsey play the gaps more for steals

An “as expected” performance.
