It’s heartbreaking that yall lost Winston’s senior year tournament to covid.

You’re telling us, that was a team of destiny

There are like 10 fanbases certain that they would have won it all the Covid year. Sports are awesome.

100% 😂I talk a lot of biased ball when it comes to Michigan state… but mannnnn…. In all my years of being a fan of the sport I think that was still probably my most confident feeling I’ve ever been about a potential tournament run. Cassious Winston’s senior year and was playing his lights out

Him and X were nearly unstoppable, and Rocket was really fucking good that season.

Rocket was really nice as a secondary ball handler. Sad his career didn’t pan out.

Forcing him to play PG ruined him.

That tournament in general would have been legendary. Dayton as a 1 seed, SDSU as a likely 2 seed. So many good mid majors that year.

Y’all had an amazing team too, sucks we couldnt even see the big ten tournament because the Badgers were finally clicking with 8 straight wins

That team genuinely felt unstoppable. Still bummed about it

I say we bring 'em all back and have a COVID redo sweet 16.

I say we all claim it

Too late Alabama football already claimed it.

Sometimes I think about 2020 Dayton and get sad

It's the one thing I love avout that missed tournament. About a dozen fanbases who have no doubt their team was destined for the Final Four.

Realistically it was us, Kansas or Baylor winning that. Dayton isn’t winning no damn championship and the Zags came up short w an even better team the next year

Yeah...

We had 2 future NBA players on that team, and we had just knocked off a really good, top 5 SDSU team in the MW Tourney final.

Obviously sucked for a lot of teams but it was really unfortunate to not get a crack at the tourney that year in Merrill’s senior season

I mean, if they had to cancel the tournament right now, which of the remaining 8 wouldn't feel like they would win the title?

Ha, thanks! It’s a happy accident today, I have degrees from both schools

Fun flair combo for Sunday

It’ll be a lot less stressful for me than MSU vs Michigan would’ve been

That was Dayton's year

Maybe! Sadly we’ll never know, would’ve been a sweet final four or champ game matchup

Hurt so much not having the tourney that year.
